You people are slacking off.

mlyonsd 08-31-2018 08:08 PM

Utah State beating Michigan State at home with 5 minutes left. 31-30.

'Hamas' Jenkins 08-31-2018 08:28 PM

Seems to me like the only way Alabama could harm their title chances would be if there was a QB controversy, and now Saban is going to play both of them equally when Hurts is probably the worst starting QB in the conference.

Pointer19 08-31-2018 08:38 PM

Army lost by 20 to Duke. Sigh.

They are hampered when Hurts is on the field. It sucks for him that he never really improved as a passer, but Tua is the better overall QB. Maybe they start out like this, but the plan is to be fully transitioned over to Tua by the end of the regular season?

RustShack 08-31-2018 09:07 PM

Iowa States year.

I wonder if Saban told Hurts he would get PT just to make sure he didn’t transfer. Having a QB on your bench who has played in 2 National Title games and only lost like 2 or 3 games as a starter isn’t a bad insurance policy if your starter gets hurt.

It doesn't really matter. Hurts is the reason why they haven't won two straight national titles, and if he had stayed in both games, they wouldn't have won either. He's a running back. That's all he's ever been. They can throw any moron behind center (as they did the previous two years) and out athlete almost every team they play.

Mine got underway last week. I don't care if CSU does suck(and boy, do they)I'll always take an in conference road win to start the year. Gonna have a tough go this week against Navy.

Alabama will win it all again, like they always do.

Looking forward to this Auburn/Dub game. Curious to see if this team is what a lot of folks are saying they are. Playoff bound.

Hard to say. They're SEC'n pretty dang good, but I don't know if they can let it all fall off.

I think at least another bigger time Big 10 program gets an opening and he'll be high on the list if he puts in a good year.

I for one welcome seeing Kentucky trot out 10 men when defending against a red zone possession.

That was the most disappointing football moment of 2017 for me.

I've forgotten the chain of events that made the 10 man defense critical. I can't get over that.

Umpire just made a good TD-stopping tackle on a Sooner.

North Dakota State scores on the third play from scrimmage. Have QB and both RB back from last year.

Well, at least Kingsbury has his looks to fall back on after this coaching thing falls through. Maybe he can end up as a model for LL Bean or something.

May not matter. Either way. But Saban is so hardcore old school that he probably wants to be sure Toa is the guy.

More likely though, he wants Toa to keep working

Actually, it was Ryan Day.

Ohio State's defense is dogshit. But their offense could be terrific. Haskins is a million times better than Barrett. It's like watching Mahomes instead of a worse version of Alex Smith.
