Well, given what's currently happening in Japan, Customer service may not be as sharp as usual, whatever usual happens to be.

Panasonic bought a controlling share of Sanyo a while back, and I think they are going to whack the brand in the next year or so.

Funny that would shit out on you in such a short amount of time. I (knocking on serious wood here) have had really good luck with HDTVs, including the Protron 32" that we bought back in 2004.

Of course, the 42" we bought a few months ago is a Sanyo. Now I'm a bit nervous.

Good luck to ya, who the hell do you call to get a tv like this fixed nowadays anyway?

Just email Dave Ramsey. I'm sure he has all the answers.

You can get a 4" screen TV at radio shack for less than $100 .That should fit well during football season with Al Davis's pea sized brain.

Damn dude, that sucks. :(

(Though I can't help but mention that my primary credit card automatically extends manufacturer warranties for an extra year...)

EDIT: Heh...I see I wasn't even the first to go down that road. Oh well.

Don't care about your credit card and since I don't use them, I have plenty of cash in which I can buy another and pay for it while you pay for yours 3 times on your credit card.... :thumb:

As I've mentioned multiple times, I never carry balances on my credit cards, so that statement's simply false. Regardless, I'm not in the mood to get into this again, so good luck in finding a new TV.

If I were up to my ass in debt, I would run from the problem too, that will make it go away :thumb:
