EDIT: I'd be up for that Kreator picture disc and Too $hort release.

In for the Floyd/Piper mono and the Fleetwood Mac "Alternate Tango", maybe the Back In Black cassette if it's cheap enough.

Going through Reds oldies thread at the moment, currently on Amy Winehouse' 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow'

That little Brit had some pipes and some soul

Had a credit at HD Tracks that I burned on Back To Black, good stuff.

REZN is an up and coming stoner band from Chicago with a unique enough take on a style that's beyond oversaturated with shit. They're on Bongripper's new album release show in July. Check em out.

These guys are really good, this new 'stoner doom' or whatever its being called these days genre speaks to me... atmospheric, heavy, gloomy, its cool

Liked the video for Wake shot in Bachelors Grove, supposedly the most haunted spot in all of Chicago... very appropriate for that band

I work at Reckless in Chicago, we'll have the /1000 press for $50. No holds, one per, all that good limited edition stuff.

KCUnited 04-20-2018 10:04 AM

There were about 15 people in line this morning for the limited edition Sleep record. My store only got a handful, others even less. Can't wait to play it.

You can get the 10k press on green from Third Man.

Thats so perfect, not sure who Akira is... but the rest of it, balanced out by some Sade is a legit music experience

I've considered getting a turntable to dick around with but have always been skeptical if the sound quality will be noticable on my system. The novelty of playing LPs of Dark Side of the Moon and Wish you Were Here has some appeal.
