College Football All-Star Challenge
On ESPN2 at 10:30 Central.
Dont' know if it's aired already or if this is new; but it's a skills challenge with NFL prospects. Could be worth a watch if you're bored. |
QB accuracy challenge to start it off. Glennon, Nassib, Manuel, and Rodgers are competing.
|
Manuel scores 232, distance throw for 66 yards.
Nassib scores 222, distance throw for 61 yards. Rodgers scores 224, distance throw for 52 yards. Foot slipped on distance throw. Glennon scores 222, distance throw for 56 yards. Probably made the single best throw of the competition on a 30 yarder moving left to right. 3 throws at moving 10 yard target, 3 at 20, 2 at 30 yards. One distance throw. |
Glennon takes about 12 throws to hit a huge net looking target 20 yards downfield.
LMAO Manuel didn't look much better with his attempts. Rodgers was pretty sad too. I know it's just a skills challenge and all fun and game, but holy ****, these guys ought to be able to drop that in there with their first two throws. And shit, Nassib takes about 7 throws too. |
Have no interest in any of these guys, but it is interesting to watch.
|
Well, I don't care about any QB prospects outside of Geno and Wilson; but these guys didn't do a goddamned thing to pique my interest. It's just the easiest format possible to make high percentage throws in a pretty light-hearted environment and they all just kind of sucked.
|
Manuel was probably the most accurate and impressive out of all of them; and even then he was pretty 'meh'.
|
That's pretty sad.

Shit, Nassib threw the exact same ball 4 times in a row. Right depth, slightly to the right. Four times. You think even in this format he'd be able to adjust after the first one or two. Nope. |

This was on the other day I think. I decided that because Nassib looks like a douche and rolls up his throwing shoulder sleeve that he is not going to be any good.
