Pretty sure neither actually qualify as a MacGuffin.

It doesn't fit either of the criteria.

-Is the nature of the item interchangeable?

-Is the nature of the item irrelevant to the plot?

If the answer to both is 'yes' it's a macguffin.

They're a long way from the contents of the briefcase in pulp fiction (we don't even know what it was, so obviously it doesn't MATTER what it was), or the diamonds in snatch (which could have been anything of high monetary value).

I can't wait for this!

I'm glad they waited as long as they did, better chance it will be a solid movie.

My guess is, Ford shows up sometime in the final 10 minutes

I was thinking in the middle of the movie but only for about 10 minutes.
