Not really the point. High speed chases put a lot of people in danger. At what point does law enforcement weigh the risk?

I watched Ubandale cops do the same thing to a guy on a motorcycle. Witnessed it firsthand. How can you justify encouraging those speeds over minor infractions?

High speed chases are stupid.

Only on CP does a guy driving 130 smash through a cop car and the police get questioned.

Yep.

We all know the police give the general public plenty of reasons to question the things some of them do.

This is not one of them.

Was an obscured license plate really worth a 100+ mph chase that ended in a death and injuring a child?

Holy crap, what a stupid post.

How many lives are endangered in a high speed chase across 3 counties? With a vehicle description and a partial plate number could they have arrested the guy later? What if someone innocent pulled out in front of that car not realizing they were traveling 100mph? What if the cop hadn't exited his vehicle in time and was killed as well? Is any of that worth it?

High speed chases generally are highly irresponsible.

I agree. Innocent people get killed in police chases pretty often. There has to be a smarter way to deal with that.

I somewhat agree with you on the Chases being a bad idea, but it would be impossible to convict a person on their plate number for evading police.

It's nearly impossible to prove who is driving.

Explain red light cameras and speeding cameras.

Are convictions difficult to obtain from camera evidence?

threebag 02-16-2013 09:17 AM

Picture quality is an absolute must with not any question

No. They don't care who was driving, the owner of the car gets ticketed.
