Andy Reid said before last years game that he thought they could score on every possession. He also said after the game that once the game started he still felt that way.

That was with all backups for us and them having starters in.

Now they don’t have Talib and we have all the top guns.

I see a route in front of their home crowd.

The Franchise 09-27-2018 11:32 AM

I expect a couple of late hits on Mahomes.

True but we really need Ford to play and make an impact! Gotta get pressure and force Fleece em into mistakes, then radio into bringing in Kelly so we can burn the Dungkeys to the ground. Then they’ll know Fleece em sucks, Kelly sucks, and they’ll have no hope left. Season over for them!

Ok, seriously... the NFL is looking for greater ratings and revenue dollars. Yeah? The comment in bold makes zero sense towards both of those goals.

KC has the new QB golden boy setting a TD record to start a season... 3-0, traveling to Denver for a big divisional game on MNF.

The NFL doesn't care if Denver wins or loses, if anything - they want the Chiefs to keep rolling. If it's truly all marketing and image and dollars and ratings... and if the NFL has any influence to make something happen, I cannot imagine why they care if Denver wins.

Oh BS. They can't have one of their most popular teams having no shows in the seats.

Yeah, the new kid was great and all, but boy Denver still looks tough! Back tied for first! Don't lose faith in your team Denver fans! Now that's what you call marketing and image and dollars and ratings...

Of course the NFL won't hand Denver a SB. But they could give them a nudge here and there

Eh, we'll see. We already beat the refs in Pittsburgh, we'll be ready for the same in Denver. But, it's possible that even the NFL realizes how dull the Broncos are now...it's not 1984

Somebody hasn't seen the officiating crew apparently

Mile High Mania 09-28-2018 01:00 PM

Sure, I fully expect there to be screams of foul on at least 3 calls by the refs... and I also expect KC to be on the positive side of some of those calls.

The only way Denver beats KC is for the defense to unleash everything they have on Mahomes. Can they rattle him, keep him moving and disrupt the passing attack? Sure, they have the players to do it - problem is, KC has a lot of weapons. Attack the right side of the field and the middle - that's the game plan, KC does that and they win. If Denver's defense can somehow treat Mahomes like they did Cam Newton - Denver can win. I just don't think you can treat QBs like that anymore with the rules.

It would be more about the Chargers than Denver. KC has the NFL darling...and LA has a new stadium to fill. Ratings pay their bills so the nod goes to Chiefs. Non-fans will actually start tuning in to watch Mahomes.

Not a chance. The medias ride on Mahomes jock has only just begun. The league KNOWS this kid is the next great one, beyond all others, and you'd better believe they are going to water that garden and feed it PLENTY of donkey manure to ensure growth and success.

There have been a lot of dumb things posted on this board, but PMINT takes the cake...

Lucky for Vance Joseph they don't require the Wonderlic Test for head coaches.

He sounds like a mental defect.

The football media STILL talks about it. We may think he sucks but the NFL loves him.

The NFL gains nothing by keeping the Broncos artificially in the race..they need the Chargers to succeed. They have Mahomes vs. Brady on Sunday nigh football in two weeks...they want to keep the hype train rolling.

The game will be telling as that ref has deliberately screwed the Chiefs, twice, in game deciding bogus calls.

Sounds like a couple of scurrrd-ass bitches to me.

Miller's 5-star assessment:

"I don't know what Andy did in the offseason".....

Let me tell Von what Andy and the Chiefs did:

1) Suckered your lame-assed GM in to jump-picking a complete ****ing loser at QB.

2) Deftly played the following draft and secured a generational talent at QB.

3) Put that QB pick in to a year of training and adjustment at the professional level of the sport while simultaneously feeding his competitive spirit to the point that when said QB pick finally got his day in the sun, he unleashed unstoppable hell on your declining, jive-assed defense.

And we've only just begun....

MOAR talking about the broncos. Or less talking about the broncos. I don't give a shit. Just kick their ass Monday.

Hog's Gone Fishin 09-29-2018 09:44 PM

This gives me great confidence:
1) He hasn't watched film
2) He thinks we play Sunday
3) He thinks Bolles has all the talent in the world.

They plan to come after Mahomes and hit him
