It's been pretty good, IMO.

kcxiv 10-13-2010 09:30 PM

I really like that they let Happy join the charter. I always liked his character, but now it seems as if he's full time.

Sully 10-14-2010 08:48 PM

I can't express how much I love this show.

That said, I didn't see season one, and am still getting ****ed up by backstory stuff I missed.
For instance, I didn't know Abel wasn't the son of Jax's (now ex) girlfriend.
Who's is he?

keg in kc 10-14-2010 09:39 PM

He's the son of Jax and his former wife Wendy, played by Drea de Matteo of Sopranos fame.

I thought they'd do that last night, but evidently not.

So, it appears I'm the only one watching. Pretty intense episode last night. They are building up to an incredible payoff.

OmahaChief 11-03-2010 12:27 PM

Another solid episode last night. There is a whole new level of tension with the Chruch and IRA invovled. It seems that any minute something major could go down. The stuff giong on back home looks to be heating up next week which should make things all the more exciting.

I agree Jax needs to know about Trinity ASAP or he is going to get some of that.

hehe, i dont think the clay and gemma thing was a shocker. People have been saying that since season 1. I just didnt expect Jax to say **** you dad. I am doing it my way. That was an awesome twist.

I was reading Kurt Sutter's post mordem blog and he goes, in the end this show is about ****ing outlaws. lol He said he's going to do completely the opposite of what you expect. haha.

At least we know that their new enemies are the Russians. haha

keg in kc 12-01-2010 04:54 AM

I don't know how they did it, but this season started as shit, and ended up as maybe the best so far. The finale started a little slow, lots of setup, but that last hour was amazing.

Deberg_1990 12-01-2010 10:03 AM

wow...was reading on another board that this season basically took place over a 2 week period. Interesting....at least the 14 month jail time will allow the show to catch up to real time. I assume thats when season 4 would begin?

Question: When did Jax make the decision to let the club in on the Stahl deal and double cross her? Were they in on it from the beginning?

An additional incident began at 9:24 p.m. when a local towing company arrived to take possession of some of the motorcycles. At 9:41 p.m., the tow company took possession of the vehicle, but at 9:49 p.m. the tow driver reported that the tow truck “was being followed by several subjects.” Rather than driving to the tow company lot, the tow driver brought the vehicle to the sheriff’s department; deputies stored the motorcycle in the sheriff’s department with directions that it “is to be released only to a valid driver with a valid motorcycle endorsement.” The tow company informed the sheriff’s department that “they do not want a bill nor do they want any part of this motorcycle.”

Jax got the lead role in the new Del Toro film Pacific Rim. It has something to do about Aliens and the humans being piloting robots to kill the aliens.

That's true, but I don't think they're even in production yet (that's a summer 2013 movie IIRC).

Yea, that was crazy. Both him and and the twitchy Lincoln make great foes for the club.

Last nights episode was great. Does anyone else get the feeling that Jax is going to end up killing Gemma and Clay for what they did to John before he leaves the club?

I agree both of those dude make excellent foes and Machete makes for a great associate of the club. I am sure at some point that will come back to haunt the MC as well as those cartels don't mess around.

I don't think Jax will bring harm to Gemma or Clay as he has showed a lot of restraint in the past on some things. It seems Jack is headed down the pacifist road and only commits acts of violence as a means to an end. I don't think he would have stabbed the Russian on his own if the Clay was not around.

It will be interesting to see the club take sides on this drug issue.

The episode was good but they had to throw in that SAMCRO would discriminate against Juice if they found out his dad's black as if they were hillbilly/rednecks.

heh, this guy also had a little problem with vote scene because the two swing votes ended up being characters we dont know very well....

http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/whats-al...guns-and-mommy

Though this is a situation where I wish we either knew more about Miles or else Sutter hadn't decided to upgrade him from prospect to keep the voting numbers uneven. Clay and Bobby go round and round trying to get the necessary votes to pass or squash the deal, and the swing votes wind up being Kozik, whom we only know a little about (was him being a former addict new information?) and Miles, about whom we know nothing.

Agree it could have been clearer, but I think the swing vote was Opie. Miles and Kozik were called out when Jax and Clay were saying what votes they had and who needed to be turned. They needed one vote, either Bobby or Opie. Jax got the deal done. And the seeds of the club cracking are set with a Bobby/Clay beef, not Jax/Opie. Then there is the turn on who will get the gavel when Clay and Jax are gone, different promises were made by Pres and V. Pres. Pretty good setup for a season of internal conflict, it just played a little frantic and instead of being clear, it's open to interpretation.
