I like weed. I like strip clubs. I like the girl scouts. Why in the world it's idiotic parenting to keep my kids away from 2 of those things, I confess, boggles the mind.

It really is as simple as keeping kids away from shops which cater to, and can only sell their products to, adults.

I have 3 children. Twin 6 yr olds and a freshmen in high school. I believe in exposing them to the truths of the world early and often. The good the bad and the ugly. I've taught my freshmen that alcohol and the drugs they sell at cvs, as well as the uninformed humans are far more dangerous than marijuana. We've covered the dangers of weed including memory loss, lack of emotional development, laziness, and the fact that it's illegal. I've shared my opinion that keeping it illegal to adults only helps the drug cartels, and basically wastes my hard earned tax dollars on policing harmless Americans. If your curious what kind of person she is. She makes all As except Spanish, plays the guitar, piano, and French horn. She is goalie on the JV soccer team and just got her CPR cert for babysitting. She is generally well behaved and respectful of adults. She know that excuses are for the week and she will ultimately be judged not by what she says or believes but by what she does. And it would let her sell cookies at a pot shop.
