While I didn't feel my post came off as overly angry, you are certainly entitled to feel that way. That being said, idiocy is angering.

This is the second time you've called me an idiot. The zoning laws prohibit amongst other things, the proximity of a dispensary to a school. Why do you suppose that is? Would you be okay with our daughters selling outside of a strip club? Those girls are hungry too.

I like weed. I like strip clubs. I like the girl scouts. Why in the world it's idiotic parenting to keep my kids away from 2 of those things, I confess, boggles the mind.

They sell outside of walgreens and cvs. The drugs from these establishments kill hundreds of people a day. Being exposed to people outside a potshop is no worse than exposing them to people anywhere else. the idea that it is is pure idiocy. Selling cookies to hungry people is simply a good idea. File this in the cry me a river category.

It really is as simple as keeping kids away from shops which cater to, and can only sell their products to, adults.

My grad school buddy is an attorney for NORML in Denver. Most straight up dude you'll ever meet. Had one of the first med pot cards in Colo. Bet he bought some cookies...

We're moving there soon... Is he married? :P

Who said anything about strip clubs? And your not an idiot, probably. I can't for sure say. Your opinion that exposing your child to the people outside of a pot shop is any worse than exposing them to the people anywhere else in the wide world is.

You said it's no worse than anywhere else. /paraphrase A strip club is another example of someplace they shouldn't be. I'm not so sure you're an accurate barometer of intelligence.

I take it you don't have kids, correct? If you do, do you agree that it's a generally good idea to keep young kids away from being exposed to the world of narcotics?

What exactly are you scared of anyway? Seriously, I'm curious. A young lady selling her product to people outside of a legal establishment amongst regular people hardly seems dangerous or harmful.

See above. I don't think it's a good idea to expose young kids to marijuana.

I have 3 children. Twin 6 yr olds and a freshmen in high school. I believe in exposing them to the truths of the world early and often. The good the bad and the ugly. I've taught my freshmen that alcohol and the drugs they sell at cvs, as well as the uninformed humans are far more dangerous than marijuana. We've covered the dangers of weed including memory loss, lack of emotional development, laziness, and the fact that it's illegal. I've shared my opinion that keeping it illegal to adults only helps the drug cartels, and basically wastes my hard earned tax dollars on policing harmless Americans. If your curious what kind of person she is. She makes all As except Spanish, plays the guitar, piano, and French horn. She is goalie on the JV soccer team and just got her CPR cert for babysitting. She is generally well behaved and respectful of adults. She know that excuses are for the week and she will ultimately be judged not by what she says or believes but by what she does. And it would let her sell cookies at a pot shop.

She sounds like a nice young lady.

Now, how about your twin girls? You didn't really talk about them, and I would think you would, considering they are almost GS age. You'd be fine with them selling cookies outside a pot shop, and being exposed to the world of narcotics at their age?

Do you think it's a good idea to expose young kids to alcohol? Do you have kids and do you drink in front of them. If you don't have kids do you think it's ok to drink in front of kids? Dig a little deeper. What are you scared of?
