In 2 years he will just be getting his first chance to be a starter. Alex Smith has the reigns until then.

No. How can you be upset with a team for taking a chance at the chance for a franchise QB that we haven't had in 30 years?

I'm not convinced he is THE guy, but what do I know. Plus, I do agree this is what you spend the #1 overall pick on, a QB that is.

When you have the overall #1 pick, you don't need a crop of QB talent. You just need one. When you are picking in the 20's is when a crop of QB talent would be nice.

Qb yea. With Reids coaching ability of the qbs Geno should have no problem. Plus Geno breathes and sleeps football.

The Chiefs have proven track record of selling the farm to move up, so yeah, this is a GREAT strategy!
