I think there are some questions, and it would be a bit of a reach, but if we draft him, I'll cheer my A-- for him till he stops wearing Red.

there's a reason alex smith was a backup last year.

it's because he needs a rookie qb to be a starter.

At
Least
We
Tried

In 2 years he will just be getting his first chance to be a starter. Alex Smith has the reigns until then.

because he got replaced by a better player, who happened to be the head coaches hand picked qb?

on the fence really .. would really like a better crop of QB talent than this years to pick from .....

I will not be upset because then The Raiders and the Chiefs will have drafted a monumental bust in the last decade

I will buy you a Geno jersey with my credit card when the R8ers draft him.

I wont be upset if we draft Geno, in fact I will be ecstatic.

I WILL be upset that we gave away draft picks for Alex Smith then drafted Geno anyway.

Meh. Shit happens.

DTLB58 04-07-2013 01:26 PM

No. How can you be upset with a team for taking a chance at the chance for a franchise QB that we haven't had in 30 years?

I'm not convinced he is THE guy, but what do I know. Plus, I do agree this is what you spend the #1 overall pick on, a QB that is.

When you have the overall #1 pick, you don't need a crop of QB talent. You just need one. When you are picking in the 20's is when a crop of QB talent would be nice.

Qb yea. With Reids coaching ability of the qbs Geno should have no problem. Plus Geno breathes and sleeps football.

This is what I was talking about earlier. To me, the draft picks for Alex is no big deal.

The Chiefs have proven track record of selling the farm to move up, so yeah, this is a GREAT strategy!
