Welcome to the 2013 Alt Mock Draft

The Kansas City Chiefs are up

chiefscafan 02-27-2013 09:01 AM

Next up Jacksonville Jaguars

The Franchise 02-27-2013 01:59 PM

Ummm....what?

No....if I was in this mock....I would consider that the Chiefs now have Alex Smith, Geno Smith and Nick Foles.....and they're out a 2nd round pick, a 4th round pick and a 6th round pick.

Sanka 02-27-2013 03:02 PM

Fat ass Reid ruined this draft.

sfchief 02-27-2013 04:41 PM

We are only one pick into this and recent news dramatically changes the draft
What is wrong with starting over before anyone else picks

I agree we need a day of mourning or 2

chiefscafan 02-27-2013 06:03 PM

Ok I talked with dtchiefs

He is accepting the smith deal but isn't taking geno. I'm giving him 12 hrs to make his pick or trade it. After that whether he's made the pick or not it's saphojunkie's pick.

Trades are still allowed for players and picks both gms have to agree on compensation

Chiefs are on the clock

chiefscafan 02-27-2013 11:39 PM

Ok trade has been made

Kansas city chiefs send CB Javier Arenas, 1st pick in round one, pick in sixth round

To

Philadelphia Eagles for QB Nick Foles, 4th pick in round one, pick in second round, fourth round pick

KurtCobain 02-27-2013 11:42 PM

**** reid, I had a sweet trade going that would give the titans Alex.

chiefscafan 02-27-2013 11:43 PM

With the first pick in round one of the alt mock draft

The Philadelphia Eagles select Qb Geno Smith University of WEst Virginia

Why lets see Chip Kelley tried to recruit him four years ago at Oregon gets him to run his O in the NFl. Chip Kelly offense needs an accurate qb and geno is just that. Vick is the starter but Geno will be given every opportunity to win the job.

chiefscafan 02-27-2013 11:45 PM

Jacksonville jaguars are now on the clock

Mother****erJones 02-28-2013 08:48 AM

Jets GM I'm interested in another trade down

saphojunkie 02-28-2013 11:57 AM

With the seccond pick in the 2013 Chiefs Planet Alt Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Damontre Moore, defensive end, Texas A&M.

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 12:00 PM

Oakland is up

saphojunkie 02-28-2013 12:02 PM

Damn, I really hope we actually make that Philly trade now.

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 12:05 PM

I like this trade too dtchiefs came to me and I was like chip Kelly would want geno it's not too much.

Chiefs vantage point get the second back and foles and a fourth.

I'd roll with foles and smith

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 12:06 PM

Remember to pm next person up

Mr. Flopnuts 02-28-2013 01:35 PM

I am very curious to see what the next two picks are.

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 01:36 PM

Yep been trying to figure out those too

Mother****erJones 02-28-2013 03:06 PM

Ya I thought that's a fair deal because Oakland wants Smith. And I got a high second back plus a 4 and Foles to back up Alex.

Mother****erJones 02-28-2013 03:07 PM

I think that's a bad pick for JAX. Moore hasn't gotten good reviews I think Bjorne Werner is a better option

Mother****erJones 02-28-2013 03:08 PM

Oakland is gona take shareef Floyd IMO

crazycoffey 02-28-2013 03:17 PM

Number three overall, the Oakland raiders select; DE from Florida state, Bjoern "the fourth Reich" Werner.

crazycoffey 02-28-2013 03:18 PM

Nope, at least not in this mock....

Maybe if jax drafted werner, then again it may have been milliner

Mr. Flopnuts 02-28-2013 03:18 PM

Interesting. This is where I expected Geno to go. Straight to Oakland.

Mother****erJones 02-28-2013 03:24 PM

KC is on the clock. Hmmmm

Ill try and make my pick tonight I'm leaning towards CB milliner although LT Joeckel and Fisher are under heavy consideration. Wish I knew what was happening with albert

Considering the shit sandwich you got handed to you with the Smiff trade, you handled it beautifully. Moved down 3 spots, and got a QBOTF that is familiar with Reid. I won't say who I would take. I'll wait for your pick.

I'm no consultant, but that said, while you are going to get some criticism for that pick, I still like it to a degree. You can't have enough of that!

KurtCobain 02-28-2013 06:37 PM

Pick bray pick bray

Direckshun 02-28-2013 07:20 PM

I think it'd be Milliner if this is how it played out with Albert resigned.

Without Albert resigned, it'd have to be Joeckel/Fisher/Johnson.

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 07:31 PM

Ok dtchiefs can you please pick

Mother****erJones 02-28-2013 08:42 PM

With the 4th pick in the 2013 NFL DRAFT...The Kansas City Chiefs select Dion Jordan DE Oregon. This guy is a physical freak. 6'6" and can pass rush like a mother****er. I see this pick as a JJ Watt/Pierre Paul type pick. He ran a 4.6 40. He can also give Tamba and Houston some much needed help rushing the passer. With the 4th pick we need good value and an impact guy. This guy is it. Have him gain some weight to his 250 LB frame and he will be dominant. This guy can be moved all along the dline and on the outside. He can drop back into coverage as well. Hes good in the run game also.
I was going to go with CB Milliner but i figured we'd get one in Free Agency since there's good value in CBs in Free Agency

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profil...dan?id=2539288

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 08:54 PM

Ok sanka's gave me his pick

With the fifth pick in the draft the Detroit Lions select

DB Demarcus Millner from the university of Alabama

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 08:57 PM

Cleveland Browns are up

Finally, lol..... either guy was a fit. Figured it was going to be Jordan. While a top 1o guy should be a starter, a good fit. No WR that has value there, Millner was only other logical pick. More guys to get after the QB the better. If your going to attack the QB, better have the horses to do it.

chiefscafan 02-28-2013 09:11 PM

As I've said we better make our D the best if our O is gonna be avg.

Mother****erJones 02-28-2013 09:14 PM

You can never have too many pass rushers, Hali is getting up there and almost 30. We need another impact pass rusher, and at 6'6" he could be a freak like Watt or Pierre Paul. More pass rushers the better our secondary will look

Sorter 02-28-2013 09:24 PM

I see this pick as a JJ Watt/Pierre Paul type pick. He ran a 4.6 40. He can also give Tamba and Houston some much needed help rushing the passer. With the 4th pick we need good value and an impact guy. This guy is it. Have him gain some weight to his 250 LB frame and he will be dominant. This guy can be moved all along the dline and on the outside. He can drop back into coverage as well. Hes good in the run game also.
I was going to go with CB Milliner but i figured we'd get one in Free Agency since there's good value in CBs in Free Agency

Seriously - say no to Ducks. Other than Ngata, they tend to bust hard.

No pressure situation, comes in and plays situational football while adding some weight and learning. Not exactly what you want out of a top 5 pick. But potentially makes you better on passing downs. Rather have the day 1 starter, but, its not a DE and its not an OL.

Impact player is what we need in top 5. He could be a surprise like Watt and Aldon Smith. I wanted to trade back but no offers

The same Dion Jordan who got shutdown by a tightend when he faced real competition?

Ive watched maurice jones drew stonewall a LB once. So what he can be coached up and bulk up by getting bigger and stronger

I'm just busting your balls man. It's not a bad pick. He has crazy upside.

Well, looks like the Chiefs are going to start Donald Stephenson at left tackle.

Ha I didn't even realize he was in our draft. I thought he was making a suggestion. Alright then...

Edit:Are we not doing PM's?

ArrowheadMagic 03-01-2013 12:15 AM

Probably should be. But outside of DT its gone pretty quick.

RyFo18 03-01-2013 12:18 AM

How the **** did Damontre Moore go 2nd overall?

ArrowheadMagic 03-01-2013 12:23 AM

In todays game, you better be able to get to the QB. Film over workout, tad high, but guy gets after it.

chiefscafan 03-01-2013 12:24 AM
