If Geno Smith goes...say around 20th.

are people still going to be mad we passed on him at #1?

No one learned anything from the Jimmy Clausen fall?

i'd take a QB, obviously

as to 'who else,' the answer is anyone...we already have a LT

20th? Yes.

2nd round? Probably not.

Just curious...
Is there a possibility that the Chiefs draft Fisher, wait for Joeckel to get taken off the board, then start dangling Fisher as trade bait? I can see a scenario where their market for the #1 pick will become a lot stronger once teams in the top 10 (or even Miami at #12) realize they can't get the guy they wanted.

Of course they will. There was no real difference between the 1.1 and 1.20 this year. That is the problem with this draft. Now if Geno falls past that....

You think the 49ers would have regretted picking Aaron Rodgers?

Who cares about where they fall.

learned what?

that all QBs are forever defined by Clausen?

that it's risky?

that aaron rodgers and flacco shouldn't have been draft because no one took them at #1

is there a point there...anywhere?

ChiefsCountry 04-25-2013 04:40 PM

Jimmy Clausen was a very small minority in 2010, the majority wanted Eric Berry. The majority of the Clausen talk was when he fell to the second round. Of course that always seems to fall on deaf ears.

don't get me started on Flacco

and Rodgers is an aberration juts like Tom Brady.

He got to sit 3 ****ing years behind a legend while he worked on his game...and he took over a team that was a Favre **** up away from being in the Super Bowl.

I mean...****. If you're going to give me shit about Clausen then I'll fling it right back about Rodgers. That's the same ****ing thing just on opposite sides of the spectrum.

Wrong.

It was Clausen, Berry or bust at 5.

Don't be a revisionist.

Hootie 04-25-2013 04:43 PM

name a QB that was EVER SET UP IN A BETTER POSITION TO SUCCEED than Aaron Rodgers.

Was there one?

Maybe Steve Young?

My Christ.

Dayze 04-25-2013 04:44 PM

I'll admit it; I was sort of pulling for Clausen at some point. but as the draft approached I was on the Berry train.

...I'm not afraid to admit it.
