Man, if you think Bostonians can't drive in the snow, don't come to DC. You'll go into system shock instantly.

Maybe it's easy to be a little whiny bitch when you live in Florida while a blizzard hits the northeast. Next time a hurricane hits you, I'll enjoy pointing and laughing.

Seriously, some of you are just giant ****ing dickmunchers.

Where I live has never, ever took a direct hit from a hurricane. But, the day my son left KC to come down here, there was a tornado/funnel cloud in the sky a 1/2 mile from where he slept. At least with hurricanes you get some warning.

I wasn't so much talking to you as the NE area.

When the midwest got hit in the spring and winter of 93 it was all laughs and giggles because it's "flyover country."

Not so much fun for them now...

Got about 14" here. Sun came out and really helped out today. Some lost power for a little and last night the roads were bad but overall it was just a normal big winter storm. My town is bad at a lot of things, but plowing roads is not one of them. Tons of people outside of the town own plows as well. Another benefit the cities don't have.

People got a little jumpy last night when the two gas stations ran out of gas. Bad memories from a few months ago. Directly East and Northeast of me got hit a lot harder than I did.

just saw a really cool shot of a parking lot somewhere in the northeast. Just looked like a bunch of snow mogles.

Those snow walls get enormous. Passing the A + P (food store chain) was like passing Fort Knox. Couldn't see around or over them.
