I bet Ozzie Newsome is on the phone right now trying to do anything he can to get this guy.

He is the perfect fit in Baltimore.

On the surface, this would appear to be a no-brainer move for the Chiefs.

He makes less than a million this year, about $4M next year, and just under $6M in 2014.

Look at Tyson Jackson's deal. Sure, the signing bonus was high, but so was the back end of the contract.

Claiming McClain will almost certainly cost more than he'd receive on the open market. We'd also be incredibly stupid not to do it.

see if he works out, if so then negotiate new deal.

If he sucks or won't negotiate then we cut him
