Empyrion: Galactic Survival
 

I posted a bit about this game in the No Man's Sky thread, but it deserves a thread of its own. It's kind of a survival game, and I usually don't go for survival games that much. But I am really getting into this one. In some ways it is similar to No Man's Sky, a little Space Engineers, but this game is it's own thing. And it is way cool. It is still in early access, but it has a lot of content. And it is on sale through the 22nd for $10. Seriously, throw ten bucks at this game, I don't think you will be disappointed.

You can build bases, hovercraft, small spaceships, capital spaceships, and more. And the cool part is, people can upload their designs to the Steam Workshop and you can subscribe to get a blueprint of their design. Then you can gather the resources and build it. Which is awesome, because my designs suck and there are some incredible designs in the Workshop.

You fight local aliens, drones, turrets ... take over bases, mine ore, gather local flora, hop in your ship and fly to the moon, or another planet. I have just been playing single player while I get the lay of the land, but there is multiplayer as well. Multi-person ships, PVP on some servers.

These videos kinda meander a bit, but show several different aspects of the gameplay. All of it a lot further than I have progressed.
