Supposedly it's passing near Bridgeton, which is near the airport.

gblowfish 05-31-2013 07:18 PM

Tornado headed towards Lambert Airport and Florissant. It's supposed to be a big one.

gblowfish 05-31-2013 07:20 PM

Another one is south of St. Louis City heading towards Columbia, IL.

Looks like the leading edge of stuff in St. Louis is over on the Illinois side now, Granite City and Carlinville and Collinsville. Look out for lots of rain and lightning now. Flooding and power outages. Tornado threat moved off into Illinois now.

Thanks. Just trying to determine what actually happened. I know the reports about the stadium and the Holiday Inn are bullshit, but did hear from a friend that was in a casino up there and said the building shook, they lost power, and their ears hurt from the pressure - so something definitely rolled though that area.

JoeyChuckles 05-31-2013 08:58 PM

I hope the tornados take St. Louis's crappy pizza and baseball team.

Seriously though, everyone stay safe.

Hollywood Casino sustained damage. Lobby windows are blown out, and apparently some of the roof is damaged/missing.

Yup, airport had some damage too, hotel was damaged and people were transported to a local VA hospital for protection and thats were some reporter got the story messed up and claimed "mass casualties", lots of wind damage, trees and lines down, flash flooding, and apparently suspicious people running around and random shoots fired..... Lol
