Trubisky? More like TruBLINDsky

Just when it seems we can’t possibly appreciate Mahomes any more than we already do, this pic comes out.

How the hell he missed that?

MMXcalibur 09-11-2018 01:36 PM

The ref had him covered.

The picture is a little deceiving. Trubisky missed the receiver coming open then by the time he saw him it was too late.

New World Order 09-11-2018 01:38 PM

Doesn't it feel great to be on the winning end of a draft pick?

Sassy Squatch 09-11-2018 01:38 PM

Holy shit

ok, but how about run forward through the massive hole for a TD? Besides that, we all know Pat sees him and get the TD there anyways.

meanwhile, a TD

Trubisky was the ‘safe pick’ in that draft. In hindsight, the Bears should have swung big with Mahomes or Watson and just hired Nagy or another young offensive mind as they did to develop them.

Same exact thing happened with the Rams and Goff. System QB through and through.

Yep. The safe picks still require a lot of development.

Best case scenario he dumps it to Hunt for a first. 1000 times out of 1000 he doesn't even attempt that throw.

ModSocks 09-11-2018 02:51 PM

Misleading.

It's not, though. Obviously you watch the video and there's a backside defender, which is what he's scared of. That's kind of the whole point: any elite QB makes that throw all day, because they have the arm and self-confidence they'll deliver it. Guys like Trubiski know their pass is 50-50 at best to get there or be picked.
