Has anyone picked up the final installment of the game?

Thoughts about tell tales gaming expierence with Walking Dead?

Did you like the way they released episodes and do you see that becoming a trend?

Telltale Games is pleased to announce the release dates for the SEASON FINALE of THE WALKING DEAD! It will hit on November 20th for PlayStation Network (North America) and November 21st on PlayStation Network (EU), Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PC and Mac via the Telltale Online Store and digital distribution partners such as Steam, and also for compatible iOS devices as the final piece of downloadable content from within the ‘Walking Dead: The Game’ app, available on the App Store.

I've played the first 2 episodes --- love them.

I've gone through all four so far... Fantastic story. They really put a lot of thought into it.

Same here. Pretty enjoyable. And easy achievements.

Love the first 4 eps...cant wait to dl the last one.

I really would love if they continued this somehow.

I didn't like the episodic releases. They originally marketed it (and people pre-paid for) a new episode each month. They weren't able to keep up with the time table.

The finale was ok. A little meh.

downloaded the first episode on xbox lastnight. Was fun, i need to finish it today. I think im at the store just after the farm. Pretty good story so far.

Finished the last episode enjoyed it can't wait for more

Is this something hat has to be dowloaded on xbox live or can they be purchased for regular xbox 360?

xbox live. Just go through the new releases and you will eventually get to the game. I tried to search and it wouldnt come up.

it will also release in Dec as a regular game for 360. in case you dont have live

How long are the episodes? I'm probably gonna pull the trigger on this, based o what I'm reading in this thread.

i played for about 2 hours lastnight and i was in my 3rd location i think. I wanted to keep playing but it was freaking 5am, stayed up way to late. haha

its about 900mb download, so im guessing maybe 4-5 hours if you search and talk to everyone. Its only 5 bucks an episode,

It's been fun, the story has been great and worth the purchase. Typically they have taken me an hour or so maybe more on some to beat. I like the fact that you could start again and make diff decisions

ok, they arent that long at all, I just took time to search every damn place. If you go through them they are pretty fast, but its still really freaking good. Totally worth the 5 bucks per episode.

If you use steam and all for 12 bucks or whatever, totally worth it.

For me it took me 2-3 hours per episode

I started over and saved it under a different game and made different decisions to alter the game. It is pretty funny running through it again being on the other side of the fence.

Try it if you haven't.

just finished episode 3 and wow. That was pure ****ing brutal. Crazyness. off to 4 now. im doing it fairly slow, cause i dont wanna run out to fast. lol

It would be cool if you could run back the episode as a Zombie and make decisions the same way you do if you are controlling lee.

I thought the final episode was pretty weak.

Finally finished the game and im dissapointed. not because i didnt have fun, but because...

Actually, you never saw Kenny die.

There's no way he could possibly escape that. He had 1 bullet and about 10 walkers trapping him in a corner. he wasnt covered in blood to mask up the human smell.

hmmm... Molly could have saved him, but more then likely he was a goner too. He had nothing left to live for and he didnt really give a **** anymore.

Yeah but they made a point to not show him die. I'd put money on him making it out.

I didn't like Kenny's sudden change in character toward the kid. Kenny's been pretty much a douche the entire series. All of a sudden he does something altruistic for a character he despises? No way.

I guess the next installment is coming out around Xmas. I'm looking forward to it. From some of the stuff I've read online, telltale is having problems incorporating the decisions made from season 1 into the storyline for season 2. I wouldn't be surprised if the push back the release date a few times.

I'm pretty excited. Loved playing The Walking Dead season 1 and 400 days.

Anyone played "the wolf among us" yet? Also they are making a Game of Thrones game.

They're making a Borderlands game as well.

Loved this series. The characters were good and I didn't think the situations were too contrived.

I've tried 3 times to play the first installment of these games. I've heard over and over again that they're really good. And I'm sure once you get into them they probably are. But god DAMN it's boring at the beginning. Whenever I get into game mode I feel like playing a good video game. I just have a hard time with interactive stories.

Honestly, I just watched someone else play them all on YouTube.

Anyone play this on PC? I got it for PC and for some reason the gamepad support is all funky. The cursor always goes to the bottom of the screen. So if I'm trying to point to something it's a pain in the ass. Might just be my controller, but I doubt it since it works on every other game on my PC. I could just play with the keyboard, but it'd be a lot more comfortable to play with the controller with a game like this.

400 days kinda sucked IMO.
I wasn't impressed. The stories all started out well but ended abruptly.
Not enough follow through for me. You can play the entire episode in a half hour.

I wonder if they tie in to season 2

Another good episode. Playing this game isn't the most uplifting thing in the world, though (and I suppose that's the point considering what kind of world it is).

I'll have to buy this weekend can't wait to start.

I enjoyed it. I'd say it is about on par with the first season so far. Hard to tell where this one will go this early.

This series is great...i hope it keeps getting better. Wish there was no wait in between.

Just finished Episode 3. By far the most challenging for me. I suck at manually aiming. It is funny that despite my hatred for quick time events in other games, I love this game. Considering that is all this game is. That and a choose your own adventure.
