Re: Alex Gordon... you do everything you can to convince him to change his approach in the offseason, and fix his swing. And hope he listens. Otherwise, you've got little choice. They could expose him to waivers after the trade deadline and hope someone takes the chance.
Re: the lineup... I like dropping Moose to an RBI slot - have been calling for it - but hate hitting him behind out machine Salvador Perez.
Merrifield
Hosmer
Cain
Moustakas
Perez
Bonifacio
Moss
Escobar
Gordon

They keep getting connected to Hs pitchers. Considering their track record with Hs pitchers, I'm not excited about that.
Jeremy Kendall of Vandy is my pipe dream. Probably won't slide QUITE to 11. He has the ability to be a real impact player (George Springer and Jackie Bradley Jr are high/low comps).

And I quote:
"Chris Young would be a better option than Herrera. Literally anyone!"
You know, the same Herrera who pitched UNBELIEVABLY in both the 2014 and 2015 postseason in the highest of leverage situations. But nope he can't handle regular season 9th inning games.
Just ... *SIGH*
P.S. You want to know who has more trade value for the Royals than you think? Mike Minor. He has LEGIT stuff and he is a fireman out of the bullpen. They can get a haul from a contender for that guy - he's a top 10 reliever in baseball right now with that arsenal. Sneaky good signing by Moore.

I think Mike Minor will be a very valuable trade piece. The Astros actually make a ton of sense for him (a power lefty arm would be a great fit for them).
