3 tickets for 11/25 and 11/29 games

Hey guys, before I put these up on ebay, I just wanted to see if anyone here wanted them. 3 tickets for each, 11/25 vs. Seahawks and 11/29 vs. Eagles. Sec 327 Row 20. Face value, $51 each. I do take credit cards via PayPal.

Packfan 11-03-2001 11:33 AM

Darrin,

Nice try, but remember who your dealing with here: Chief fans. Those games will have at least 20,000 no-shows. Probably more.

If you want to sell them, start the bidding at $5 per ticket. There is no way you will get face value for them. The Chiefs are one of the worst teams in the league.

Good Luck!

Phobia 11-03-2001 12:09 PM

Here we go again. Don't you ever get tired of pushing buttons, Ken?

Gracie Dean 11-03-2001 05:12 PM

We are still diehard fans and bad football is better than NO football. We will go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't look like many seats were vacant on Oct 14th when I went.

I would buy these except I need to buy christmas!

SuG 11-03-2001 05:55 PM

PACKFAN . . . . .

Let me ask you a question.

If you had season-tickets to the Packers(and maybe you do), would you be attending every game if your team was 1-6?

Besides, aren't you the big Anti-Carl person? You should know that the only way Carl will ever leave town is if fans stop supporting this team in mass numbers. Kind of a comfy situation you're in, isn't it? If the Chiefs suck(which they do at the moment) and fans continue to fill up the seats, you can simply say how we Chiefs fans are simply content with being a .500 ballclub(or worse) and will continue to support Carl no matter how dumb his decisions may be. Then again, if they don't sell out and there are a bunch of no-shows, you can simply play the "Chiefs fans suck and don't support their team" card.

It must be nice being able to talk out of both sides of your mouth so easily.

KC Dan 11-03-2001 05:57 PM

It's not his mouth that he's talking out of!

dtebbe 11-03-2001 11:53 PM

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

DT

Packfan 11-05-2001 08:48 AM

Guys,

Not trying to push any buttons. Just stating the obvious:

Chiefs suck

Tickets wont sell at face value

Many, many empty seats in future home games

I will buy those tickets for $5 a piece.

Nelson Muntz 11-05-2001 09:24 PM

packfan,
just shut the fuck up. no one gives two sh*ts about what your whiny loser naggin *ss opinion is anymore, so why bother?

but i think i have figured out why you are so negative about everything. you just haven't been laid in so long all of your frustration just keeps builiding and building.
sucks to be you

Say what you want about me and "pushing buttons",
it looks like I am right again on this one. So far, nobody on here is offering anything (other than my $5 bid) for these tickets. Like I said, there will be 20,000 empty seats. Free tickets floating all over town. Why the hell would anyone pay face value to see this team right now?

Well duh, Ken! Considering that the majority of the people on that post on this board aren’t even in the Kansas City area, does that surprise you? Once again, you’ve shown your ignorance and your a$$ to everyone here and it’s not a pretty sight. Dipshit!

Looking away…

Rausch 11-06-2001 12:19 PM

If you haven't sold the eagles tix just reply to my post.

I might just take 'em from ya'.....I got a friend that's an eagle's fan in town, and thus, a ride to da' game!:D

Dartgod 11-06-2001 02:02 PM

Why buy them Brad? According to PackBOT there will be "free tickets floating all over town". And we know he's always right.

Packfan 11-06-2001 02:17 PM

DartGod,

If I am ignorant for the fact that nobody had bid for the tickets and your claim that most people on this board are from out of town, what does that make the guy (Darren) who posted it in the first place??

Call a spade a spade or better yet, dont talk without covering all your bases first.

Dartgod 11-06-2001 02:19 PM

WTF are you talking about?

Packfan 11-06-2001 02:24 PM

You think I am stupid for ridiculing the Chief fans for not buying these tickets because YOU claim that most of the people on this board are from out of town and wouldnt be able to go.

Does this logic mean that the guy who is selling the tickets is stupid too?? He is the one tyring to sell them here.

Dartgod 11-06-2001 02:27 PM

Sure, whatever you say. At least you admit to being a dipshit. I would guess though, that this is probably not the only place he is trying to sell them.

Packfan 11-06-2001 02:30 PM

I am not admitting to anything. Read my posts.

As far as your claim about most people being from out of town, you have no proof of that. For instance, you have absolutely no clue where I am from.

The guy has Chief tickets for sale. Why not sell them on this board?? You are the ignorant one for suggesting that he is stupid for doing it.

I just think he is asking to much for them. And yes, they can be had for free with little effort. Remember, this team is 2-6 and stinks.

Dartgod 11-06-2001 02:37 PM

I read the posts here everyday. I have met many of the people who post here and most of them are from out of town. I would say then, that most of the people who post here are from out of town. Pretty simple to figure that out.

I would ask you to prove that, but you'll probably come up with some lame excuse like you have a business trip to Detroit or something...oh, wait, you already used that one.

Packfan 11-06-2001 02:44 PM

you "have met many of the people that post here".

In person?

If so, when and where? Did you all fly to a central location and meet?? I seriously doubt it.

Dont make me expose you to be a fraud like I did to Mark M.

Its embarrassing. For you.

There are a few more homes game left and I will venture out to watch the pathetic brand of football the Chief play and I will watch it for free. I will let you know when that happens.

Misplaced_Chiefs_Fan 11-06-2001 02:55 PM

The only thing Ken can possibly expose is his own ignorance to this board.

And to think, he does it almost daily, and without any prompting. It's truly amazing to (not) watch.:D

Hmm, Dartgod and Mark M's integrity vs Packfools. No question who I'd want to back me up.

Though, it's not really a fair contest. Packfool would have to HAVE integrity before I could question it.

Packfan 11-06-2001 02:56 PM

Dartgod,

I think I already did.

You claim that most people on this board are from out of town because you "met them" and told you so.

I challenge you on that.

I seriously doubt that you met any substantial number of posters because you would have to all meet in a central location, being that you say they are all from "out of town". They all would have had to travel for you to "meet them".

Didnt happen. Which makes you a fraud.

End of story.

I hate it when guys like their as s off on here.

Dartgod 11-06-2001 02:58 PM

You're making this waaaaay too easy Packfool. Perhaps you've heard of something called the 37-Forever Foundation?

Iowanian 11-06-2001 03:01 PM

In order to PROVE this Theory Packfool...

1.Why don't you go on down to Arrowhead this weekend, hook up with a member of the board(to verify) and got get 1 free ticket in the parking area....you know...where scalpers give away tickets for free every week for a losing team.

2. It should be pretty easy for other posters to verify meeting Dart in person...I've witnessed conversations saying as much on the board.

3. IF one person verifies that you recieve a ticket for free...then your credibility is somewhat restored......If one person has met Dart in person....well...you're still the same.

Dartgod 11-06-2001 03:27 PM

I guess you're feeling pretty stupid now, huh Ken? I did a quick tally of the people I have met from here. I have met around 20 or more people through the 37 Forever Foundation and tailgating at various games. Only 2 of them are from the KC area.

I would suggest you consider keeping your pus...er, mouth shut in the future about things you know nothing about.

Phobia 11-06-2001 04:15 PM

I've met Dartgod & about 30 other people from this board.

Iowanian 11-06-2001 04:21 PM

Well...

How 'bout dem apples.

Excluding people I've met by traveling to KC for home games, I've met 8 board residents elsewhere. I met Bob Dole when he was in Houston for business. I met 4 members last year when we all decided to view the Chiefs/Rams game at a local sportsbar. I met AustinChief in Fort Worth while there on business. I met Steve M (chiefsfanTX) at a sportsbar (coincidentally) during a pre-season game a couple of years ago. I met a lurker on this board because I happened to work at the same company. I met another lurker at a sportsbar for a preseason game this year. Of course, I "know" Pink quite well.

At Chiefs games & 37 Forever related events I've met at least 20 others. I won't name them all because I'll leave somebody out, but I met Morphius and KCWolfman (along with his lovely wife) first. Redhead was supposed to be there and I believe he was, but we got our wires crossed (I didn't turn my cell phone to vibrate) and never actually met.

AJKCFAN 11-06-2001 06:31 PM

Dartgod & Mark M:

Nelson Muntz 11-06-2001 07:03 PM

is it just me or would everybody else love to find packfan in a dark alley and try to beat some common sense into him? it just amazes me how far he has made it in life without one shred of common sense.

Phobia 11-06-2001 07:14 PM

I actually think I'd probably get along with him. He just places zero value on being friendly online. He doesn't realize that the world is changing and sometimes online friendships can be valuable. To him, this BB is just a game and he likes to get a reaction.

Packfan 11-06-2001 10:21 PM

Kphobia,

You are correct. I'm probably a guy that you and most others would get along with. Maybe the world is changing, but my friends are people that I hang around with, grew up with, or work with. I am not here to make friends. I like MOST of the guys on here strictly from a football perspective. Thats why I dont get bent out of shape (like some guys do) over name calling and personal attacks. I usually dont make them, and usually dont respond to them. Those that routinely make personal attacks are the people I kind of feel sorry for on this board. I wonder if thats the best rebuttle they have. Calling me a name. And the thing is, it doesnt bother me one bit. I have nobody on "ignore" and in most cases, overlook the childish tactics of some of the board members.

When someone makes a claim that I think is untrue or physically impossible, I call him/her on it and stick to my guns. Mark M claimed to be at a Packer game where there were "empty sections", but couldnt remember anything else. That is simply wrong, IF you believe in attendance statistics. Either he lied and was never at the game, or he is to stupid to tell the difference between empty sections and a full house. I left it up to him to tell the truth. But he never did.

In this case, Dartgod expects me to believe that a large number of people, from this chat room, all over the country, get together in one central location. And that none of them would be interested in buying Chief tickets sold here. So I am an "idiot" to think that anyone would actually buy the tickets because I should know that most people arent from KC and would not go to the game. He knows this because he "met up" with a bunch of guys presumably, in a central location. But its OK for the seller to offer tickets here. He is not an idiot. Just a fan trying to sell his tickets, even though Dartgod is certain there are no legitimate buyers here. It doesnt work both ways. I think Dartgod realizes this now. Like Mark, Dartgod has been exposed. He got caught with his foot in his mouth.

Some people have a problem with being called out and questioned. Others choose to name-call instead of arguing a point. I just tell it like it is.

I could care less if I rub someone the wrong way. Its not personal and shouldnt be taken that way. There seems to be a bunch of insecure people on this board. I guess thats who the ignore button is for.

This is a football chat room, nothing else, IMO.

Phobia 11-06-2001 10:44 PM

This is what you make it. I've made it a place that I spend a lot of time and have interpersonal relationships. Many of them are anonymous but others are what I consider true friendships since I've actually met them. It's hard to consider somebody a friend that I haven't met, but there are some cases that I do....

I don't expect to find a soulmate on the internet, but I think finding friendship is fine.

You've made this just a football chat room and that's fine. For me and many others it's so much more.....

stevieray 11-07-2001 06:51 AM

Still going on about Mark....? Makes YOU look wrong, Ken....Notice Mark isn't going on and on about it? Is that some sort of problem you have? Redundacy?

Not only is Dart telling the truth, his wife makes you look like a feminist. And Ken, you can say all you want about the city and it's fans, but it reallly has no sustenance, and i think deep down, you know that.

One more thing, some people enjoy their privacy. Notice the phone #? Gee, maybe someone contacted him by phone...ya think?

No, that doesn't make sense, because if that were true, you couldn't make the same petty comments, dogging people about.

Dartgod 11-07-2001 06:58 AM

Exposed?? Ha! I made a statement about meeting many members of this BB and you called me a liar. I proved I was right, and you won't admit you're wrong. Now tell me, how is that exposing me??

In response to your question on another thread, my name implies I like darts. Pretty brilliant detective work there, Ken.

mac 11-07-2001 08:51 PM

I don't understand why Packfan is even on here. Are we rivals w/Green Bay? Why would someone visit the BB of a random team and argue? Just a question. I mean, I could see if we were rivals but I didn't think we were. I hate Raiders/Broncos and sometimes Seahawks, I don't care what GB does.

Packfan 11-09-2001 10:34 AM

mac,

I am here because I live in KC and I am a Chief fan. I argue with some of you guys because I dont agree with what is said in many cases. On this particular post, I dont think this guy can get face value for his tickets. History has shown the "nlf's greatest fans" abandon their team when things go south. At 2-6, things have gone south. I offered $5 for each ticket and so far, I am the highest bidder.

I hope that answers your questions.

Dartgod 11-09-2001 11:00 AM

Ken, you never answered my last post.

I said I had met many (about 20 in all) members of this BB. You called me a liar. I proved it. I met most of them at the first annual 37 Forever Foundation meeting on opening weekend. I have also met Bwana, Big Daddy and KC Dan when they came to KC for a game and I played host to them for some tailgating.

No name calling this time, I am going to try to keep it civil. Please retract your statement. An apology would also be nice, although I don’t expect it.

dtebbe 11-09-2001 12:40 PM

Once again, PackFan is wrong. Bidding is at $88.50 on the 11/28 game and $53 on the 11/25 game. So, PackFan is NOT the high bidder, he is just the same mindless idiot who does not have a clue as to what he is talking about. But we don't expect much more now, do we?

DT

You can bid at:

11/25 Seahawks
or
11/28 Eagles

Phobia 11-09-2001 12:43 PM

dtebbe, since you have these on ebay and seem to be doing much better than you are here, I'm gonna let this drop. Ok?

Dartgod 11-09-2001 12:46 PM

Phil, I won't let it drop. :D

At least until I get an " I was wrong" from Ken. I'm not asking him to apologize for calling me a liar, just a simple retraction. I'm not holding my breath, however.

Although I never met DartGod, I believe living in Central and South America and Africa for the past 19 years, and calling Tampa, Florida my home qualifies me as from out of town. And no, Packbot, I am not a Band Wagon fan, I've been a Chiefs fan from the very beginning, and proud to say so.

If you recall, there was a thread (more than one I believe) dedicated to where posters were posting from. Pacbot, if you go back to those posts and have them read to you, you will notice that there are a great many posters from "out of town".
