Alex Smith appreciation thread (end of an era edition)
 

Yes, I know many around here couldn't stand his conservative style of play, but he dragged the team out of the basement and gave us something to hope for. He even gave us some exciting games here and there.

He's a great all-around guy, and I wish him the best.

(But let the Mahomes era begin!)

Alex is all class. I have never called for his death but I am stoked about Mahomes.

Yeah, I have nothing against the guy....just glad he is moving on. Best of luck to him.

Well without seeing the actual deal, but assuming it is a second round pick at least, and something else....I will say this turned out better than I hoped for. I was wrong. I will admit. I thought getting alex was going to be a set back and we would be starting back at square one...but I do believe we used his 5 years wisely....and for that I salute you ...

I thnk Alex Smith is a great dude, and I'm sure he and I would get along fine, since we're both touchy-feely pinko commie libs...

But I have no appreciation for his time in KC. Glad it's over and we can move on.

Frustrating to watch play sometimes, but an awesome person and enjoyed cheering for him over the past couple seasons.
