Need wireless printer.

Hi guys

Need a new wireless color home type printer. Last printer I bought was 15-20 years ago. Both wife and I have Apple tablets. One iPhone , one galaxy 6. We would like to print relatively effortlessly from all devices. I use an HP printer app from my ipad but printer is no longer. (Think office space.)

Have tried anti- freeze, blinker fluid and hanging from a burning aids tree. Also sought advice from both Dorsey and GMDM. No success .
Any and all advice is considered. TIA.

I don't recommend the Epson Artisan 835.

connectivity is just ass and i would worry that all of the Wireless Artisans would be similar.

You have to reinstall the drivers quite frequently and that process stinks. You have to connect the printer to you computer via a special cable, then run setup program so that it finds the router and your computer again.

If the program gets tweak on your computer in any way you have to start over again.

Printing itself is good but wireless part is terrible.

Any solid recommendations? Apple tablets.

Recently purchased the HP M277dw and am quite happy with it, but I'm printing primarily from Linux and Android.

EDIT:
Oh, I did have one problem with it. My current wireless infrastructure is 2.4g between repeaters and 5g for devices. This printer will do 5g, but only if you drop to WPA mixed and TKIP + AES. It will do WPA2 and AES, but only on a 2.4g network. So I have the printer riding the bridge network instead of the client network. Annoying for sure, but no performance issues.

I've been using Brother printers with apple devices pretty much ever since Apple stopped making their own, and I've never had any problems. I just got another (a Brother color laser printer) for Christmas, as a matter of fact, and it's been smooth sailing with it. Your mileage, of course, may vary.

Thanks fellas. Any more advice?

My only advice is HP printers are garbage and Epsons aren't much better. Of course I never spend more than $100 on one so that may be my problem.

The HP M277dw I bought is replacing an HP J6480 I've had for almost 10 years. It lasted through 6 moves. Although like you said, I paid more than $100 for both.

I've never had any serious issues with HP stuff. Do make sure you verify the printer you have is true wireless. I had an eprint capable HP printer that was awesome, and when it was time to upgrade, I got another, but HP in their wisdom decided on this model that you can only eprint when connected to a PC instead of wirelessly. Annoying.
