Alex Smith for Mayor of KC.

Mav 07-30-2013 08:50 AM

I don't understand the Vikings rating. They made a crap ton of upgrades in the offsason, if you just factor in what they did on the defense alone, but when you factor in they brought in Greg Jennings, and drafted Cordarrelle Patterson.

I guess its the Ponder stigma. Which is really weird. I think they have a great chance of beating the Packers in the playoffs last year if their qb wasn't named JOE WEBB.

Eh Patriots are in turmoil but they still have Tom Brady and BB and Tom Brady hasn't suffered from a broken neck in his career.

I think the Bengals are going make a good push in the playoffs this year.

The Bengals have the potential to go deep in the playoffs this year. They're loaded with talent and have a deep roster. Jay Gruden and Mike Zimmer are very, very good coordinators.

Prisco's been pimping Denver this entire off-season, so it's no surprise he has them at number one. The Ravens lost Pitta and traded Boldin, in addition to losing Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Dannell Ellerbe.

Pasta Little Brioni 07-30-2013 11:19 AM

Dalton won't lead them anywhere.

The Afc is much weaker than the NFC. The nfc is going to beat the hell out of each other. I agree with them being number one for now. Who do they have to compete with in the AFC?

I don't need to go any further. Prisco doesn't know jack or shit.

The ravens lost far too much including both of Flaccos clutch targets in Pitta, and Boldin, they also lost LEwis, and Reed, meanwhile the Bengals added a ton of talent in Gio Bernard, and Tyler Eifert. The bengals on paper are far better than the Ravens. I agree about the Pats......

Yup. If the Chiefs start 2-0 which is conceivable, then they will be a top 15 team.

Meh. Their defense is good enough that if Dalton just throws jump balls to aj green, and doesn't turn it over, they can get a bye in the AFC.

The Texans aren't exactly built for the playoffs when they get high-powered offenses on the schedule. They can only seem to beat the teams with Andy Dalton-type QBs.

That would be the Cincinnati Bengals.

Wait a minute: He's played very well against "Quality opponents" in the regular season and has led the team to the playoffs in each of his two NFL seasons.

Just last season, the Bengal beat the Redskins, Giants, Ravens and Steelers. Those are "quality" opponents. If the blame lies with someone during their two playoff losses to the Texans, it's with the offensive coordinator and head coach.

He's a young QB that's fully capable of beating "quality" opponents and he's only 25 years old. I believe the Bengals will continue to ascend this season because they locked up some of their talent, added James Harrison and presumably did well in the draft.

I know vegas is supposed to have this stuff down to a science, but to place them above seattle and frisco is just dumb, they've been brainwashed by the legend of manning or something.

They're off to a terrible start organization-wide, mannings health is once again in question, might be missing their best lb for the first four games, lost another very good one to free agency, there are holes in the defense and their best rb is knowshon.

Yes, and the same Andy Dalton-type QBs who lose to the Houston Texans in the playoffs.

There's no reason why he can't win some playoff games. And I'd probably bet my life savings that Dalton will one day win at least one playoff game. Very likely many more.

He's got to earn it, though. Until then, he's Carson Palmer. Sam Bradford. Whatever other QB you want to name who has yet to get over the hump.
