does B.S. offer a Bulk Pick up service? you drag it to the front yard and the big picker truck comes to pick it up

Took the one at my folks house out years ago. After me and my brother moved out, dad was like...well, tear this thing out. It was an oval, like 30' by 15'. Had a bunch of friends over and had a great time pulling it all out. loaded it into a couple trucks and off to the landfill.

Then my dad planted grass on the spot, and used it as a putting green for awhile. Which was actually pretty cool...but it pretty much became a "chipping" green, cuz you really can't putt on that.

I've torn up dozens of those things when people wanted to replace it with a real pool. :D

My neighbor wanted it, well he wanted the pump and filter. I told him he could have it if he helped take it down. We hauled it to his work and he was going to put it in a shed until he figures out what he wants to do with it. I'm not sure it's worth anything more than scrap, he may put it with his old pump and filter and sell it.

I'm not looking forward to fixing the yard, I think I'm looking at about 15 yards of dirt to fill it in. I pulled up some calculator on the internet and plugged in 26' radius and 9" deep and it came up with 14 yards and change. It's actually going from flat to about 18" deep so I just divided in half for an average.

Did this shit for a decade. Got a picture of what condition it's in?

Well, I'm glad I'm not trying to get rid of a "real pool".

Some A/G pools are pretty sturdy but most are flimsy at best.

You mean 26' in diameter instead of 26 ft in radius correct? 14 yards and change of compacted dirt (uncompacted will be more) will fill a hole 9"deep and 26' in diameter.

However, your hole isn't 9" deep. It ranges from zero to 18 inches. In that case if it is high in the middle and slopes to the outside your will need: 19.7 cubic yards after compaction. If it slopes down toward the middle you will need only 9.8 cubic yards after compaction. The direction of the slope makes a big difference.
