I would apply this complaint to DC more broadly, since I've spent more time there. Fun place for discussion but so much of the forum is just a playground for people looking for an outrage to express at the drop of a hat.

Great post, but in fairness, the planet isnt NEARLY as overtly hostile as it used to be.

I think the overall quality of most conversations has went way up lately, i believe a lot of it has to do with the fact that everyone is getting older, maturing, and no longer feel like flaming people to death with the same fervor they used to.

"Beatdowns" still happen, but they dont last as long, people tire of it a lot faster these days.

The odd thing is that Direckshun is the biggest proponent of it. I've tried to get rid of that damn forum for years.

Why?

Because some of us hardcore draftniks got ****ing tired of our discussions getting buried in between poop and "I am leaving" threads.

the influx of new posters since the SOC movement seem to be mildly reeruned. i've noticed most with a 2012 join date, are the types that would have have paid the assclown for his "inside information."

I am annoyed by the fact that I have been here 7 years and I still have no idea what the **** "htismaqe" means.

People bitching about about O's posting relevant twitter posts...

All the people that profess to know so much about a prospect, whether it be a head coach or college player. In fact, they know more than people that get paid to analyze real game tape over and over.
