they sure looked like they were on a mission down the stretch there when they were trying to brick their way into a Kansas-esque loss on the line

that said, I'm still taking Michigan Monday...Louisville doesn't have that miracle Michigan win that suggests they are some sort of team of destiny

if Wichita State didn't shit themselves they would have beat Louisville today anyways

Michigan is just more talented

Setsuna 04-06-2013 09:46 PM

I don't think Louisville can handle them.

They've struggled with pressure all year. Quite normal at the college level. But they played excellent for most of the game, particularly defensively (which is unusual for them).

If Michigan plays D like they did tonight, certainly they should win. Louisville relies on getting turnovers to score easily and Michigan manages the ball very well with Burke.

Michigan's MVP? Elijah Johnson.

the better team lost that night. thanks EJ!

I'm prolly gonna get slammed for this...but I disagree. IF they come out firing on all cylinders....IF they keep their heads outta their asses....nobody can beat MI this year.
I really believe the best MI beats the best anyone else has.

I'm curious which play prompted this?? was it when he took it to the rim and got blocked rather than pass? he doesn't play D for shit, but I think by and large all of them share the ball very well.

the one who gets on my nerves is 23, Levert, but he helped much more than hurt last night. sometimes I want to smack him though. he single handedly lost the wisconsin game. oh well. done is done.

Just glad 1 of my teams won last night. Hope Big Blue wins it all.

So close to an all future ACC final. Good luck to Mich and Louisville.

Forgot about both of those teams moving to the ACC next year. The ACC is going to be a monster in basketball, not that they already weren't before.

Michigan is sooooo young too.

Well, you also thought Michigan was going to steamroll Kansas, and it looked like the opposite was going to happen for 30+ minutes of that game. And even though it's easy to say that game didn't meet your conditions, the flip side is that Kansas took Michigan out of their game, and any team that can be taken out of their game is beatable.

I could just as easily say the same thing about Kansas... had they played the same way for the entire game, blah blah, but that discredits what Michigan did, and they're obviously pretty damn good, too.

They aren't this year's Kentucky.

Anyone watching the Division II Championship game today? Root for Drury!

I feel ya. I admitted I was absolutely mistaken. and technically I was calling for a 10 point spread...not sure I'd call that a steamroll. having said that....
do you really think Michigan played their best against Kansas???

Michigan is so totally beatable....but then ANYBODY is. just saying....they are starting 5 NBA players. that shit just doesn't happen very often...unless you're a Kansas/Duke/NC type school and even then it's not often. I do believe their best would've had a double digit win on KS. hell they laid an egg an miraculously managed to win anyways (thanks EJ).

all in all that was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen, and I'd have felt that way not being a fan of either school.
