Of course they are paying Perkins $26 million

I'm no expert either, but I know they would of had 3 max guys with Ibaka making 12 and Perk making 8. My understanding is they would of had to make the move on Perk last year to come off the number this year. I give Perk shit, but you probably can't get to Miami without him. The big issue is his minutes against the Heat which is on Brooks.

I was shocked when they traded Harden. I always think back to game 5 when he, Russ and KD had their arms around each other. I'm sure they were thinking next year we got these bitches. I was sad they didn't get that chance but you got to move on.

Terrible shot collection by the Thunder bench. This would have been a much better platform for the Harden argument :)

That WAS a part of my argument. Harden led the second team very well.

It's also another example of Brooks bad lineup management. You had to stagger Durant and Westbrook to stay in this game. The back to back and 4 in 5 days didn't help, but SA is just better tonight anyway you slice it. Not too surprising as Pop just plugs and plays.

That's how he became a max guy. I'm telling you though. Reggie is going to be Westbrook JR. Based on games played he's pretty close in development to JH. Harden was meh until late in his second year too. Give it time.

That would be awesome.

I still can't figure out how Brooks beat Pop last year. I don't think it's happening again though which is bad news for Heat fans. This is the one team that can get them I think.

okcchief 03-11-2013 08:34 PM

Tonight we win the first round throwing haymakers. He survives, adjusts, and pummels them to death with jabs. I can't deny Pop is the shit, and Brooks is shit.

dirk digler 03-11-2013 08:36 PM

Refs calling it close.

okcchief 03-11-2013 08:37 PM

1 basket in the 4th? Lol

That doesn't help either.
