Appears Eric Berry did...

The Associated Press' Joe Reedy considers Austin Ekeler (neck) "extremely doubtful" for Thursday night's Week 15 game against the Chiefs.
The L.A. Times' Jeff Miller adds Ekeler is "very stiff" on Monday and can barely move his head after aggravating his injury in Sunday's win over the Bengals. Melvin Gordon (knee) is said to be eyeing a Week 15 return, but who knows if that'll happen on a short week. If both sit, Justin Jackson would be the Chargers' lead dog in w |
I'm just glad Ware didn't break his collarbone.

Yeah I'm not too concerned, considering the short week. I would guess that at minimum, Hill will play, even if he doesn't practice this week.
But we can all cry and shit our diapies over "day to day" if that's what you all want to do in every single thread that mentions injuries |
I figure Watkins and Erving don’t play.
Ware with a hamstring injury may not practice all week and the severity of the injury will determine if he suits up. I bet Hill plays. My money is on Berry being MIA yet again. |
Hate to see Mahomes on there for anything, even if not serious

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/st...-more-injuries Last year was the first year they measured a slight increase on TNF compared to regular Sunday and Monday games but it was slight and only that season. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ey-were-right/ Does playing on 4 days rest effect the quality of play on the field? That seems unquestionable. |

I've always wondered...why Thursday night? Why not Friday night? It's an extra day. Yes, it gets in the way of High School FB, but really, how can that be a reason not to play on Friday nights? Thursday night football sucks...
|
No, NOT useless. If Hobo can not provide a boost to this defense after meditating in his sweat pants for two ****ing seasons, he can do the next best thing and provide CP with "day to day" entertainment.
Like a joke. |
WHOA, you better watch it over there in Haglund Land, Glory Dayze. Next thing you know, you'll be getting banned from that thread and then two a week for no ****ing rhyme or reason whatsoever.
And on and on it goes at "Power with no checks and balances"-Planet. :whackit: |
The team can't risk Mahomes taking 15 knockdowns a game. Way too dangerous. Andy has to mix it up a little more. More runs, more quick passes.

We ain’t gonna see a defense like this unless we play the Ravens again. The closest is Seattle’s, but their personnel isn’t as good overall. They have a secondary that can be taken advantage of by a guy like Mahomes. |

Yeah, lately, I have a hard time relaxing between games. The bye week just about killed me. This long week after the Thursday night game will be brutal on me. Posted via Mobile Device |

Play everyone who isn't in a full body cast and treat Thursday as a must win.
A win on Thursday + a Patriots loss/tie on Sunday and the Chiefs clinch the #1 seed. That essentially gives the Chiefs three weeks until the Divisional Round of the playoffs to be conservative with managing injured players. |

A thursday win is a big deal. We could lose to Seattle, beat the Faid and still get the one. We must win this week.

The NFL doesn't change to what the fans want, they will get left behind like baseball. Fans of the local teams but don't watch a game in the other league on a regular basis. |
I'm a fan of defense, but my God those 90s Chiefs teams were excruciatingly boring. I remember when the Chiefs scoring 21 points was a fireworks show.

There is a vast difference between a good defense shutting down a good offense ala the Bears/Rams, and an okay defense shutting down a bad offense Seattle/Vikings last night.
