Let's say from now until 1-13-12 anyone is fair game. I don't think anyone is really on the ol' deathbed really.

I will rewrite the rules to reflect that, now.

You're Swaze thing doesn't really apply. I'm thinking more along the lines of when we knew within a week that Reagan was dying and Gerald Ford for that matter...
You know, it's all over the news. Someone is about to croak, they do retrospect pieces, etc...

I'd also suggest a choice between an escalator for right month OR a slightly smaller, then growing, escalator for within 30, 20 10 days. It would sure suck to pick someone June 1, and they die May 30 with no escalation.

We knew [if paying attention] as Swayze's days waned [he died at home off aggressive Tx], same as Steve Jobs. But we also knew for a good while both had a severely limited lifespan.

Ok, I have decided to take part in this pool after all. Should anyone have a viable reason why I should not be allowed to participate, I will retract my submission. Keep in mind though that, should I win, I will forfeit my prize to the runner-up. However, I will definitely make Gonzo my bitch for at least a week. :evil:
