Deep Tracks...a thread for your flip side faves

Bored today and looking to hopefully get introduced to some tunes I can add to my collection. Please try and keep the songs deep,as in not the everyday turn on the radio and hear unless of course it could make Sirius/XM Deep Tracks.

Even though my tastes center around most all genres of rock this thread is for all tastes in that maybe some of us can help others who like me are always looking for something new.

I'm going to go way back to start from Black Sabbath's Technical Ecstasy project.I crank this up at the 3:10 mark, love the riff.

Doesn't link well from my phone, but here's a few.

Arden Park Roots- these guys are a very unique blend of hard rock, and reggae.

Three Legged Fox- these guys blend lots of different styles together to make beautiful music.

Aaron Kamm and The One Drops- sweet blend of St Louis blues, jam band, and reggae. One of my faves!

Digging the Gary Jules.

I'm getting turned on by Steven Wilson's solo stuff ATM. He was previously with Porcupine Tree. Progressive rock. I would describe it as VERY 70's influenced. Shades of Yes, Kansas, Tull. Opeth too.

That said, here is the saddest piece of music I have ever heard

Truer to my description:

I'll be seeing him in June.

Maybe out of scope, but I recommend A Perfect Circle. My faves are 3 Libras, The Howling, Orestos, The Noose.

Real deep is When The Levee Breaks. @42:00

If I were rating those I'd go 3,2,1 really like the guitar on the Aaron Kamm

Yeah, wasn't sure exactly what kinda rock music you like most so figured giving a wide mix would be best. Aaron Kamm is badass!!

Aaron Kamm is really good. Not my cup of tea though. This particular song reminds me of Jason Mraz, spead up a bit.

Check out Pete Yorn

This one gets my motor running. Nice progression and climatic finish.

I am a HUGE Porcupine Tree fan and had the opportunity to see them live twice.I think Gavin Harrison is one of the greatest drummers ever.My favorite songs are Anesthetize,Lightbulb Sun and Hatesong.

That said I had not heard Luminol and will be looking for it tonight.Lastly, where and when in June are you seeing Steven live?

Right on. Luminol is from his first solo album. The first video I posted is the title track. His next is due for release soon, thus the tour.

I am seeing him in Phoenix at the Mesa Arts Center, which is very intimate, on June 11. I have 4th row, center as I have a connection, Danny Zelisko himself. ;') It is not on his tour schedule for some reason but here's the poster

Man. I tried and tried to get into The Stones. Just could never do it. Select tunes for sure but not an overall fan. I have tried.
