How did anyone even remotely begin to believe this. ROFL

Why don't they just start combining the ps4 with some of their awesome LED TVs? They could still sell the consoles separate as well, but I think it would be pretty awesome to have an all-in-one set up for something that is supposed to "run" your whole living room.

indeed. Even if Xbox One was half the price of PS4, I still wouldn't get it. I'm putting my tinfoil hat on and am going to say that the NSA and Microsoft are probably in cahoots.

Plus Microsoft's response to the complaints about it being online all the time and you must be under 24 hour surveillance was "if you don't like it, buy an Xbox 360" lol, **** them.

I've owned a PS2 back in the day, but for the past 9 years or so I've been Xbox only and I have no doubt I am going PS4.

Playstation is doing everything right at this point. Even though they did move MP behind the PS+ paywall, you do not need multiple PS+ accounts to for more than one person to play online at the same time, you don't need PS+ to watch streaming services such as Netflix either. The one thing I hope they fix though is the ability to be signed into two profiles at once for games that play 2-4 people on the same box like castle crashers and split screen games. It was annoying to play games like LBP and not get any trophies because we were signed in with my sons account.

The PlayStation Plus service will remain the same price at the launch of the PlayStation 4. SCE America VP of Publisher & Developer Relations Adam Boyes confirmed to Joystiq during a roundtable that the price will remain $50 annually in North America. Boyes also said "all video services [on the PS4] will be outside of Plus," meaning that services like Netflix and Hulu won't require Plus.

Furthermore, free-to-play games won't require PlayStation Plus for online multiplayer. During a separate roundtable Joystiq was present at, Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida said, "As far as free-to-play games are concerned, it's the publisher's decision whether they put it inside or outside of PS Plus."

The news follows confirmation that a PlayStation Plus subscription is required for online multiplayer on the PS4. Existing PS Plus subscriptions will extend onto the console's lineup when it launches this holiday.

Can I haz a PS+ account without owning a PS3?

Most of us kids that started playing back in the 80's, and 90's still game. I dont think there is a true dominance of age. I play with a group of guys on COD that range from 20-50, and im right in the middle at 33. Ill game till im dead.
