Halo for XBox 360
 

Any opinions on which Halo game for the Xbox 360 is the best? We are having a tournament at work on an Xbox One next week, so I thought I'd pick up one for my 360 and get oriented to hopefully give me a fighting chance.

Probably 3. That would give you a feel for how the next gen Halo combat takes place, and a good look at all the combatants and how to deal with them.

Halo 3 was the best back in the day.

But if you've never played, you don't stand a chance. It's like riding a bike.

You are right as far as winning, but since it's an office thing I think a few other newbies will join in. If I've at least gotten comfortable with the controls I figure I might knock off another noob or two and keep my honor.

I'm sure it won't go over but if you play Halo:Reach you can play firefight and run the tournament off the scores. The game experience won't be quite as noticeable if you have skill levels all over the place. You'll be killing all aliens instead of each other.

Halo 3 was my favorite but the real pros all think 2 was the best

I know because I work with literally the best halo pro in the world

My opinion might be different if it were possible to get past level 30 in Halo 2 without running into modders and little bitches pulling standby. Ruined the game for me after a while.

I'm with ya, bro. I loved Halo 3. But I watch him on Twitch (I'm a fanboy) and they all play Halo 2 Classic and Halo 2 Anniversary. No one plays anything else. Halo 1 sometimes.

Who Naded? He's the only pro player i know form halo though. haha

Halo 1 with the moonbase mod and golden gun was awesome. Most people probably have no clue what that is though.
