At least he'll be back for the playoffs.

Fantastic news.

There was a time I thought Hali tore his Achilles and Houston would need season-ending surgery on his elbow.

Things are considerably brighter now, and THAT is something we can all be thankful for.

Light at the end of the tunnel. Was tough seeing them both go down because i thought both were more serious. Knowing Houston will be ready for playoffs feels good.

That's only because someone in the game thread threw out the phrase "career ending" for Hali. In fact, I'm gonna go find that post and neg-rep the person. I'll quote them here if anyone else wants to join me.

Rest up big fella. We will need you when we go to Cincy....

If it was his achilles and thankfully it wasn't but due to his age that injury is career threatening.

Knee-jerk reactions from the game thread, for posterity's sake:

Bad news for #Chiefs. By video replay, @TambaHali91 appears to have right achilles tendon injury. Out for now. Rupture would mean the season

I'll be honest, the way he went down with no contact and the way he was favoring his leg, I though it may be an Achilles as well. Great news on Hali and it will be nice to have Houston back for the playoffs.
