Baked spaghetti - why has no one ever told me about this?

I had baked spaghetti for the first time this week, and holy chefboyardee. How did I not know about this? I don't even really know what it is, but I want it forever.

I haven't discovered a great new food in ages. I'm ecstatic.

I've posted about it multiple times in the food thread

You have to make spaghetti and then bake it.

Baked ziti, ya. Never heard of baked spaghetti.

Sassy Squatch 01-20-2018 06:38 PM

Isn't it just lasagna with spaghetti instead of lasagne?

Otter 01-20-2018 06:38 PM

What's the difference between baked spaghetti and lasagna?

GMitch 01-20-2018 06:45 PM

We were in Little Rock last fall and had supper at a place that served a dish (I can't remember what they called it) that was lasagna with spaghetti instead of regular noodles. I wasn't impressed.

Was about to post something 99% like this, marrying flavors together in the oven is always a good idea

Imagine when you taste "good" pussy!

Never had one that was an improvement over regular spaghetti or a pasta more suited for baking, but I’m still open to try.
