Depending on what the FO thinks of Mondesi, I'd say SS is our most pressing need. Or LF. If we move Boni or Soler (or insert Dozier) into the DH spot next year, which we need to do, that opens up LF. This assumes Alex quits or moves to 1B for 2018

I don't think the team's opinion of Mondesi has been affected much at all. If any.

He's also in the middle of an 18-game hitting streak at Omaha that includes quite a bit of pop.

If anything, he probably has solidified their belief he's a first-division SS.

They need impact talent, period, regardless of position. They will always prize SS and CF highly because of the organization's emphasis on defense.

I expect DH, LF, RF and 1B to rotate amongst some combination of Soler, Bonifacio, Moss, and Gordon next year.

If you believe in fielding metrics, Burns has terrible data. That doesn't seem right to me but I haven't seen him much. His arm is poor but his range is worse, and it's avg in the corner OF when he's played but bad in CF.

Could be something, could be nothing. If that's true, he's strictly a bench OF.
