Really? You're 17 hours ahead of me? Damn. I didn't know it was that much. I couldn't imagine Christmas being a summer holiday...

Dude, if you're coming, come out for a Chiefs game. Start saving up, and in the next year or two they'll be good again as long as we get the right QB, and you can experience the true Arrowhead experience.

I got lucky as ****. My first regular season game was the Monday Night opener against the Chargers, and it was bash weekend. I got to meet a lot of cool people from here, watched them win at the last second, and tomahawk chopped my way out of the stadium with 75k screaming, crazy, fans. It was ****ing awesome!

Ideally, that's what you want to do. That said, visiting the US, I could think of tons of places besides KC you'd want to see, so keep that in mind. ;)

Yea there'd be so many places id want to go to! KC is right at the top of the list though! As long as Geno is the QB im sure therell be 80,000 other fans there making us the loudest fanbase in the NFL again! One day I will make it to Arrowhead, and it shall be the most epic of experiences!

Which Last Name Is Most Popular In Your State?

It seems like we all know someone who is a Smith or Johnson, and that’s because those last names, along with Williams, Brown and Jones, are the most popular surnames in the United States, according to data from the US Census.

When you look at the popularity of last names on a state-by-state basis, those names still dominate, but what about the most distinctive family names beyond the top five?

Researcher Simon Davis decided to dig into this, and he came up with a map of the most distinctive last name by state.

To come up with this map, he calculated the difference between the state and national prevalence of each of the top 250 last names nationwide, based on Social Security Administration data, according to Mental Floss. The highest value reveals the last name that is most popular in that state.

The regional differences are quite interesting, as they reflect the demographics and immigration history of each state. For example, in the Southwest, Latino names are common, whereas in the Midwest, German and Scandinavian names are more popular.

Do you know a lot of people with the most popular last name in your state?

Cheap imitation of the bigger, better, 10pm thread

Chief Pagan 04-11-2017 11:14 PM

10:00 pm thread is for wimps. Real men, and those in the Pacific time zone :D,
prefer the 12:30 thread.

What really grinds my gears is that they locked the 10pm thread because it was too big but the covid-19 thread is bigger now and it's not locked. Huh.

If people aren't doing social distancing and wearing masks, we can't stop the covid-19 thread.

Imagine the 10pm thread as one of your poops when you were 12.

And as time went on, you got bigger and so did your capacity for larger poops. And poop large, you did.

In this analogy, your body is technology and your poops are late night threads.

JohnnyHammersticks 06-26-2020 08:34 PM

Currently watching a dvr of the 2018 Chiefs/Rams Monday Night Football game. Just noticed that when Jason Witten says "Jared Goff" it sounds like he's saying "Jerk Off".

This seemed like a perfect thread for this observation, even though it's 4 hours from 12:30am MST.

Carry on...
