30'' 2560x1600 monitor
I am wanting to buy a 2560x1600 or even higher if they make them. Maybe a 27'' if a 30'' is too pricey. I have two 24'' ones right now, but I want more space and to have one monitor to have more screen space.
I already have a NVIDIA GeForce GT430 video card that says it supports the max resolution of 2560x1600. Anybody know of one I can get used or around $500-$600? I know some of them can be up to 2k. I don't really care about the quality of the graphics so much. I just care about having the most screen space possible and to be able to clearly read text for playing poker. What do you think about these http://www.ebay.com/itm/CROSSOVER-30...item3a7aaeefab http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tempered-Gla...item3a7d07f182 http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-T27B35...0x1600+monitor http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/sys/3452519884.html |
27" is the sweet spot for me at 2560x1400.
Can't see going higher. |

If your going to game at that resolution that video card will never run anything modern, even on low settings. That being said, if your just watching stuff or doing other internet crap your probably fine.

Monoprice is now selling a 27" 2560x1600. From a customer service aspect, that is where I would go.
edit - whoops its only 2560 x 1440 http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 |
