Maybe you can put some marshmallows on top too?

Boulevard has finally made it up to Seattle. Needless to say, I'm stoked. I went and picked up some 80 Acres and Tank Seven the other day.

Coffee Ale is news to me. Excited.

I'd give my left nut and Matt Cassel for a job with Boulevard Brewery

They hate a higher customer demand? **** them.

They probably hate whiny customers who don't understand they don't have the capacity to produce a seasonal beer like Budweiser has the capacity to produce their regular shitty beer. And the bad batches last year made it worse, even though Boulevard has handled all of it extremely well.

Kahlua? Cool mixer, not looking down on it, but not close to the same as a coffee ale. The latter seems really interesting to me.

That said, I'm going to miss snagging a few bottles of Chocolate Ale this year. Really liked that concoction.

You will always have whiny bitches. Chocolate Ale brought a buzz to this town like ive never seen before. It truely was fascinating and made day drinking at the bar a lot of fun.

The backlash towards Boulevard was mostly attributed to that fact that Chocolate Ale languished on shelves outside of KC, WAY before they released it here. I got a case from Cedar Rapids, IA almost a month before it got released here. Best part was, I got them for $7.99 a bottle there and retailers in KC were selling it for up to $20 per bottle.

Between the price gouging by retailers and the negative backlash from customers locally, I don't blame them for not brewing it anymore.

How is this shit worth 7.99 per bottle never mind 20.00?

What does it come with a couple of joints or something?

You have to check the content of the beer. Most are made with chocolate malts as opposed to actual chocolates.

That's for a 750mL, and that's pretty damned cheap, even for a good quality beer that isn't in crazy demand.

Even a standard beer like Tank 7 goes for 8.99 here, I think. Rye on Rye and such are like 12.99.
