Searching is (back on)
 

As those of you who have been here a while know, using the search feature is one of the most server-intensive processes there is. We have a potential solution that we'll hopefully be able to put in place once AustinChief is able to get us upgraded to vBulletin, but in the meantime, we just have to live with it.

However, given that this place is gonna be rockin for the next few days, I've I've turned searching off globally for now. Once things die down again, we'll turn it back on.

No problem, I only use the google search anyway.

But seriously, while money always helps this is mainly just a shitty database design issue from everything I can tell. There's an add-on to use a much better design for searching, but it's not compatible with vB 3.8 (which is what we're on at the moment).
