Aaron Murray
I've been getting laughed at on CP all offseason when I try to suggest we have our QBOTF on our team already.
I'm not crowning him, but this guy is not Stanzi/Croyle/Printers etc. He's not a joke that should just be dismissed. He's a legit talent and has the "it" factor to succeed at this level. It doesn't hurt that he's a perfect fit for Reid's offense and gets to sit and learn behind two guys like Smith and Daniel. If Dorsey hit on that pick he's going down as a ****ing LEGEND. |
I'm not sure anyone was laughing at you.
|
So, he's clutch? :)
|
I agree. He had all of the marks coming out of college. Some really great QBs sat on the bench for a few years (Young, Rogers). I think Murray sitting for 2-3 years could really help him and I agree with you that he may be our QBOTF. Maybe not but he certainly has looked it this game.

Murray looked great when he didn't try to make a play when there was no play to be made.
He surprised me tonight. He looks good. |
There were some pretty bad throws mixed in. Not sure what you're so excited about. He could be a below-average backup in this league.

Slow down, high speed. There are a select few that are Murray haters, and (surprise, surprise) they're the same select folks that hate Alex Smith and want nothing but a first round QB drafted by KC.
Lots of us have hope for him. |
What is the "it" fsctor other than a laughable football cliche.
|
Quit trying so damn hard to be the "I saw it before anyone else, and stuck to my guns about him" guy.
|
Not me, Murray is in the right system to succeed, and has the balls to pull the trigger too.

It was Tennessee.

We are now pulling triggers, this thread will deliver the football cliches.
