Ummm.....are you forgetting when Gannon was there? You know, that one guy Marty and Carl got rid of for Elvis Grbac.

The Raiders were one of the best teams in the AFC throughout Gannon's tenure, and did go to a Superbowl (horrible result and all). Unfortunately, that's more than we can say.

But yes, they have been a joke for about 10 years now. The problem comes from not having a franchise QB. Similar to the problem the Bills and Browns have had during that period. Chiefs not far off, although we've had more good seasons in the last 10 than any of those franchises.
