Rob Ryan Back On The Market - Won't Be Rams DC
So where will he land?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...e-coordinator/ http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...s-rams-defense “After extensive conversations regarding defensive philosophy, the Rams and Rob Ryan agreed he was not the right fit for the DC position. The Rams will conitnue the interview process with the club’s other candidates for the defensive coordinator position.” |
It has been more than five minutes.

He might be a OK DC if he could shut his mouth.
But since he won't... |

Im gonna do some more IFing.....
IF RAC wants to just retire and IF Eric Mangini just wants to keep his plush TV job Then, I could see Rob landing with the Saints. FWIW, I was surprised the Chiefs never got Mangini on staff during or after the Pioli era. So I'm wondering IF that says something about him wanting to just stay at ESPN? Personally, I think the guy (Mangini) is very bright and would be a good hire, IF they could get him out of TV. But that's me. |
Him like his brother is too much of a hothead.

Whoa, what? Do you have any idea how much BB and SP hated Mangini after the whole Spygate thing? I doubt you'll ever see Mangini on the same team as either of them, or any of their close buds, again. |
Yeah, the saints would be a good place for him. That is if Romeo doesn't want the job. Saints DC Rob Ryan. Doesn't hurt my feelings any.

Saints don't want him. They may go after Romeo though but from you guys' comments he doesn't sound too promising. |
