DM was okay for what it was but the production was ****ing terrible. Too much compression and clipping.

Thank god there were a couple of remixes put out using the stems from the guitar hero game that weren't overcompressed to shit.

Can't wait.

Hope to see them if they come to the Sprint Center again.

Sounds good, sounds like a direct sequel to Death Magnetic which is good, half the tracks will be memorable, half will be meh, its the natural progression of music nowadays.

I saw them back in 2008 at the sprint center with Down and The Sword. The Sword was the usual meh 70's rock worship, Down ****ing killed, and Metallica was Metallica.

Down actually out performed Metallica a little bit in my opinion as Phil was still in decent touring shape those days and is an amazing frontman. I hear he fell apart big time in recent years though.

I was at that show too. My parents actually took me as my birthday gift.

:hmmm:

At this stage of their careers-it would be nice to see them break some new ground. They seem intent on being thrash kings while sacrificing all lyric and melodic perfection.

2 record set of this seems like overkill- but they have enough die hard fans-it will probably go Gold. Then they can make 100 million on the road playing their good songs while throwing these in so fans can take piss breaks.

Lars has to be the most one-dimensional drummer of all time. Nice solo by Kirk-it would nice to see him spread his wings more and show what a great guitar player he really is.

The band hasn't been relevant in decades, but I'll still illegally download the album out of principle.

Their tours routinely earn more than $200 million per year and they sell out stadiums all over the world.

You argue they aren't relevant anymore yet you still need to obtain the music somehow?

You want people to pay attention to your threads, but you post such inane garbage that people would rather force feed homeless dudes bath salts until they go berserk and chew their faces off just so they won't ever be able to accidentally see any more of your comments?

No, idiot, my point was that I would steal their shitty music just to stick it to them out of spite.

Rasputin 08-18-2016 07:20 PM

I think they stole lyrics from Beelzeboss AKA the Devil in Tenacious D Pick of Destiny

~Yes you are ****ed shit out of luck~
