installing ram issues.
I am trying to go from 3 megs of ram to 8. I couldn't get the eight to work so i tried 6 and that worked. Now i am getting the bsod.I would like to try to get the 8 gig running or atleast 6 without bsod for memory dump.

my mothee board says 1.2 volts and the new.ram says 1.8 so that might be whats u0

Sounds like your motherboard takes triple-channel memory and you're trying to use dual-channel RAM sticks
|
Do you have the model# of your motherboard?
|
Is this a kit?
If your trying to add ram to a system that already has ram, make sure your timings and speed are the same on both kinds of ram |
i got the 6 ram to work I can't get to bios to set the timing This e machine gives little or no way of changing timings.
