Smith landing in Jax could make the Jags a pretty scary team.

DJLN and I talked about it in the lounge but I think in terms of trading smith, the ideal situation is if cousins leaves Washington. He'd be a good fit there with Gruden as a bridge.

I'd have to think Jacksonville and Cleveland are the two most likely trade spots. Jacksonville needs a vet QB to win now with that defense and Cleveland can't seem to draft a QB and need to become competitive - plus they have a slew of picks with extra 1, 2-2's, 3, 4, 5, 6....

Indeed. I've never been one for the "wait until 18" or whatever year you choose; betting on crop yield is absurd in the face known quantity.
If talent that you believe in is there, step up and take it.

The only drawback about QB1 or death is that you will from time to time get the Geno's and Barkley's. You'll also never miss the Lucks' and Mahomes. :)
