Cheap Vegas packages?
Anyone know of a good site to package flight + hotel accomodations?
Planning a trip in fall of 2013 with the girlfriend. Any help is appreciated. |

Vegas hasn't been "cheap" for quite some time. If you need to do it cheap, you will want to book your own travel at some of the mid range places, otherwise you will get stuck at the shitholes.

"Inexpensive" would be more apropo. I thought I read somewhere you get a less expensive overall cost if you packaged the flight and hotel. |

$225 round trip. No issues with Allegiant whatsoever. |
I recently booked the Golden Nugget for $65 per night, including a Saturday stay on Priceline. Airfare is a different story though. Southwest usually has the best deals, but even they are around $350 RT from Kansas City. I caught them running a sale a few weeks ago and got it for $270 RT.

Watch out for the Resort Fee rip off. A lot of casino's offer what looks like low room rates but they will stick you with a resort fee that can be as high as $20 a night.

I flew Allegiant out of Wichita last year and had no problems whatsoever. |

Here's a list of properties that do not charge resort fees. And those that do as well. http://www.vegastripping.com/resortfees/ |

Planning for next year to save up a bit. And I won't be purchasing this stuff until spring '13 some time. |

As seeing how this trip is over a year away, potentially. As far as what days we're there we are both completely flexible. I went to Vegas last September. Stayed at Mandalay Bay for free. I don't need that this time -- nothing AS nice. Just been thinking about Vegas the past 3-4 months. It's all I can think about and last time I was there I really didn't do a whole lot because my friends were there for a work convention. |
