They just had to put a vampire in it. I liked the idea until then.

Good idea, but it reeks of typical network crap greenlit only because people are watching Sleepy Hollow.

And yeah, vampire. And bad music. And a brooding, very modern-white-dude looking hero popping his collar in slow motion. If it doesn't have animal-headed quasi-deities, ornate golden death rafts, chittering swarms of scarab beetles, sex-obsessed architect priests, death cults, cat women, mummies, chariots, and Anubis himself guarding the underworld, it's a wasted pursuit.

There are so many cool things they could have done involving ancient Egyptian culture and mythology. But no, they just had to do a vampire. Will not watch.

I thought Sleepy Hollow looked like a sure-fire cancellation about this time last year. Maybe this one surprises.

Did Sleepy Hollow get good or something? I thought it had potential after the first episode and lasted 1 and a half more. It was pure shit.

I think the friends and Seinfeld crowd liked it.

It's over the top, shameless in its mishmashing of popular history and doomsday cults. After dealing with office crap all day, people like that escapism. Apparently.

Did he ever change out of his 1800s gear? Why on earth would he continue to wear that around?

He changed out of it once and it was uncomfortable, so he washed his old-timey clothes and changed right back.
