It's very different to American coffee.

It's light. We use saffron and Cardamon with it. Unlike the ones you get at middle eastern cafes here.

My homemade carne guisada served over my homemade mexican rice in a flour tortilla.

Take a couple pounds of beef stew meat, brown it in some beef broth...then add some cans of tomato paste, onions, red peppers, garlic, cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper, sriracha sauce, hot sauce, salt, pepper, a dash of habenero sauce. Let it cook for a few hours till the broth thickens into gravy. My favorite food ever, always a hit for anyone who tries it!

Vodka. As always.

Pork tenderloin in a deep pan with a bottle of Sam Adams black lager, water, molasses over the meat, carrot, onion, and parsley in the liquid, and coarse black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, sea salt, thyme, oregano and English mustard powder to season the meat. Mashed taters and red cabbage on the side, perhaps a salad as well.

I had some Scimeca's mild italian sausage in the freezer I needed to use, so today I'm making crock pot chili. Scimeca is a local KC company that makes wonderful sausage products. One pound of mild sausage, one pound of ground beef, can of... rotel, half a bottle of chili sauce, diced red onion, garlic, cilantro, coarse salt, fresh black pepper, dash of cinnamon, dash of dry mustard, dash of Louisiana hot sauce, dash of onion powder, packet of Williams Chili seasoning (my favorite). You brown up the sausage and beef first, drain it good, then let it crock for four or five hours. Serve in a bowl with tortilla chips, shredded cheddar cheese and a spoonful of sour creme on top. You can chop up some scallions for garnish if you dare. Here's a good recipe from Jimmy Fallon (of all people) that is similar to mine:

Nope. No beans in my chili. I also made baked tacos. You take the taco meat, blend in a small amount of refried beans, stuff the taco shells, spread cheddar cheese over them, bake them at 400 for about 10 minutes. Tasty stuff.
