Usain Bolt...

BERLIN (Reuters) – Jamaican Usain Bolt won the 100 meters final at the world athletics championships in a world record time of 9.58 seconds Sunday.

The dude is lanky and looks funny coming out of the blocks, but buries all opponents.

BRING HIM IN FOR A LOOK HAHAA

Reaper16 08-16-2009 02:43 PM

He is ****ing amazing.

Stewie 08-16-2009 02:44 PM

And it was a "slow" track!

Reaper16 08-16-2009 02:45 PM

Tyson Gay ran a 9.71, not very far off Bolt's previous world-record pace of 9.69

Where Bolt slowed down, looked behind him, and pumped his chest before he even finished?

Heck, he wouldn't bother...to much of a paycut.

Yes. Hey, 9.71 is really ****ing impressive. It would be kind of mind-blowing in a world without Usain Bolt.

Bolt, however, is redefining what we think is possible for the human body to achieve.

9.71 is impressive as hell, I'll say that much.

Haha, the fat photographers trying to catch up to Bolt, who's at a jog (for him).

jwazzie 08-16-2009 02:58 PM

Amazing, even though it is only track and is the 139th popular sport between noodling and darts. Track is good for many for 8 days every four years.

Stewie 08-16-2009 02:59 PM

It's hard to see in Zooted's video, but it takes Bolt about 10 meters to unwind his body and then it's over.

Yeah, his starts aren't great. He stands up too soon and doesn't push out of the blocks enough.

Not that it really matters, but he could shave off a few hundredths with a better start.
