Sorry but I actually heard one person (not sure who it was with so many people talking and just the chaotic nature of the story) suggest that firing Pioli now was "inhumane".

Well, Karen Kornacki can go **** herself.

This was a studio full of guys that have been saying Pioli should be fired for weeks.

This is not the time to be thinking about ourselves so I'll leave it at this:

I think the whole Fire Pioli movement is dead. Over.

At least right now, I'm having a hard time seeing how it could regain any traction.

yeah, I agree

he still needs to be fired, but we can address that once the season is over

I've read this quote several times now and its intent escapes me.

Do you have a link to the original text it came from?

I honestly could see people stepping down after this season. I at least think Crennel retires......especially after today.

it means they feel obligated to play

NJChiefsFan 12-01-2012 04:21 PM

He needs to be fired. This doesn't change that. It does change how much I was going to enjoy it. He created the bullshit football issues around him. He brought on this hate. The guy has gone through a lot today and tried doing the right thing. The issue is how public I want the hate on him to be. I think in the end I want him fired enough to keep letting Clark know. I just would be down for a less personal attack, if that makes sense.

Kidnap Clark? Idk I agree with you if you are implying that by the offseason our platform is gone.

This was directly after that quote.

Just think if Pioli was the one that committed suicide and took Cassel with him.

How would SOC ,CP feel then !

This is absolutely possible, maybe even probable.

But starting up the "fire Pioli" movement at any point now, even after the season, is going to be met with all kinds of vitriol.

It's not worth it. The fans involved will become perma-villains.
